The Viking nickname has been with me since college. There were some girls who I had known for a long time, who genuinely thought my last name was Daviking.
It was incredible. game of the year imo Can’t believe that was the first time Virginia lost 2 straight since 2017. Fortunately for them, they have exactly what they need to get back on track coming next Saturday. I am certain they’ll beat ND by at least 3
Impressive win. Seems like we still need to win the final to get in the tournament but we made things interesting.
Both Denver and Hopkins lose in their first games as #1 conference seeds. Michigan and/or Villanova winning their conference tournaments could make it interesting for a handful of teams
I don’t know what Virginia does in the tournament but they haven’t looked this lost since the end of the starsia era. Wild to see
ahhh ok, I assumed it was because they only had 4 in the ACCT, didn't realize there are only 5 total.
ND feels a bit inevitable tbh PSU needs to get into the tournament on a somewhat consistent basis so I’m glad they snuck in.
ND is definitely the heavy favorite but facing either the one team that got them this year or a Penn state team that’s crazy talented just had a bad first and last game. Not what I was hoping for I’m excited about the next 3 weeks.
What a lackluster day of lacrosse. Figured the first two may go like they did (although wasn’t sure about Virginia) but then Michigan and Princeton totally no showing for the majority of their games. Very surprising, particularly that Maryland Princeton game
Hopkins Lehigh delayed 45 minutes. That’s going to throw a wrench in watching the start of Georgetown Penn State at 230
Posted up at my seat for the ND game. 80 degrees and sunny. Couldn’t have asked for a better day View attachment upload_2024-5-12_16-9-5.jpeg
Crazy that with all the talk heading into the weekend that the seeded teams were vulnerable. And then all 8 home teams win for the first time in 20 years
ND vs GTown at 12 Duke vs Maryland at 2:30 Sunday Syracuse Denver at 12 Hopkins vs Virginia at 230 Weather looks cold and maybe wet for Saturday and 75 and partly cloudy on Sunday.
Didn’t get to watch the Duke game live so I know I’m late but HAHAHHAHHAHAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
Didn’t get to watch live so I just finished. That was a heck of a defensive effort and a good comeback by cuse.
Just started the Virginia Hopkins game. Would be wild* to have only one ACC team in Philly next week *Abso-fucking-lutely AWESOME
Great story on Ben water from #Virginia Cavaliers https://archive.is/2024.05.17-21480...cle_3190f376-1339-11ef-8ec4-3f949c23e271.html
Nunes having the yips or whatever totally derailed May for the Hoos - goalkeeping difference today's been huge
