Don't think the ending was a daydream. She's wearing different clothes and no ring, and this show has usually been pretty clear when something was not real/imaginary/flashback.
Watched first four episodes. So far its really good and on par with Season 1. Really enjoyed the Religion episode.
nvm just got to her dancing in Arnold's shirt and no pants this is what God envisioned perfection to look like
i prefer the cab scene where it just stayed on him after she got out thought that was really really great
I love the main characters so much but that was a cool episode. The two people signing "vagina" in the store was hilarious.
Finished it tonight. Those last three episodes were amazing. Watching Thanksgiving I didn't think the show could get better. But holy hell, the hour-long episode was so damn good. I was mainly bummed out in the finale but the ending was great. This show hits so many emotions. Judging what Aziz has said, this is probably it. But I hope not. Hope we get another season down the road.
That was just a really excellent season of television. I started to get angry those last few episodes because of how much I want Francesca to choose me over Dev and Pinot. She just reminded me so much of a Chilean girl that I completely blew it with in college for the dumbest reason.
Man, this show is excellent. I'm not sure there is another show that gets me this emotionally invested. I was living and dying with Dev. Everything Arnold does is hilarious.
Amazing season. Such a fantastic show. So the end.. They end up together right? Also she is perfect. Is there a season 3, or is that it?
No word yet. Aziz has said on a few podcasts that he's exhausted after season 2 and can't even think about a 3rd yet.
What I saw was that he needed to do something new in his life before he made season three. He's done telling the story of the guy who dates and eats all the time so if he does a season three he's going to have to get married or have a kid first.
This is probably a good idea imo. My only minor complaint is the show gets a little repetitive sometimes with dating, food, and Aziz constantly saying this or that is racist. I think the show is excellent but I do think that changing it up a little wouldn't be the worst idea
At this point, I trust Aziz and want him to do whatever he is most interested in whether that be more Master of None, standup, other writing, other acting, starring in more rap music videos, etc. I'm just all in on my boy. I hope it's another season though.
I'm probably over-thinking this but isn't the Thanksgiving episode proof that Dev and Francesca don't get together? The last Thanksgiving is 2017 - several months in the future - and Dev goes alone. Wouldn't he have taken Francesca if they were together?
Another random thought: Why didn't Dev call the restaurant where he ate lunch with British Sara? She had a reservation (for a month later)...they must have had her phone number, right?
It's only racist if you didn't want her to be the love interest because she's black. I would've preferred he wind up with her though, and am interested if they ever release that alternate ending they shot.
Going back to read the thread now, but I powered through season 1 last weekend. Damn good show, can't wait to watch S2
I'm curious to see what Aziz will do after this. He would have seemingly earned some serious chops for running a show. I'd imagine he could do pretty much whatever he wanted.
Didn't know this. Love him putting his real relatives in roles. http://www.vulture.com/2017/05/aziz...er-of-none-religion.html?mid=facebook_vulture
British Sara was pretty hot, but Francesca made me forget about her w the quickness. I was also a little confused because I sensed the chemistry between her and Dev right away. But then they showed her w a BF. I didnt know what to think at the time
Yeah his dad is amazing. I knew those were his real parents, I just didn't realize that the cousin was played by Harris and having been a fan for a long time and watching the stand ups it is cool to see that
Saw that yesterday. Absolutely amazing that that was Harris. Who the fuck watches burn notice? HARRIS WATCHES BURN NOTICE!
Wife liked Season 1 better. Said season 2 wasn't as funny. I agree it wasn't but the show isn't s straight comedy.
Fiance likes season 1 more too, females have bad opinions. We just watched the Thanksgiving episode last night, so fucking good. Favorite of the season so far for sure.
