Perfect house for one guy, and that's Mark Davis
Architect: mid-century desert modernism, desert minimalism, and Mediterranean would all be great looks in Nevada
Mark Davis: star destroyer
That’s a Transformer
It's very Iron Man but in the desert. Maybe he thinks he's Tony Stark?
He does have some kind of villain's haircut.
^ not a McMansion that place is baller
Agreed, wasn’t sure where else to put it
That pool area/backyard on Mark's house is 16 year old me's ideal design.
You get this house for free forever, but you can’t drink alcohol ever again. You in?
I like that Mark Davis kinda denies he has a man cave in his 15,000 sqft house despite the blueprints labeling a room as man cave.
Dude made one trip to Cabelas and it broke his brain.
Doesn't he drive like an hour or something to his barber in some shitbox minivan and people call him humble?
Library is sick
It seems like a lot of space for my kindle.
Would you be able to live here with your best friend and get $1M / year? Like, Share, & Tag your Friend if you would!
You’re paying for the land, not the building.
That’s the nicest 500k house I’ve ever seen
500k is a mansion in some places
The median home value in my county is $216,000. $500,000 would get a nice house 5000+ sq ft around here.
But seriously, are you just being intentionally obtuse?
He lives in New York
Yes and I assume he understands how CoL varies greatly across the country
I live in a city and don't understand how houses in less desirable parts of the country could be cheaper
A 500k house in most of the country should be pretty damn nice.
There are tacky rooms but some of the spots are sweet. Library, pool room
Some people call it kidding but yeah living in NY is pretty depressing in terms of what you get for your $$ housing wise. Been looking for a new house for over a year at this point
“What if a Conquistador was shipwrecked on a tropical island?”
$25 million and you get a stacked washer and dryer laundry room/bathroom?
And that kitchen is fucking terrible.
Ohh. But it's on the water?........ yea, but your water access is fucking terribly overgrown and unsuitable for swimming
Classic swamp mansion
Yeah I lived in NYC for four years, can't imagine being there permanently
They pay $2 per year in property taxes. Neat.
my brother is looking at a UWS apartment. 750 SF listed for 850k. It was “updated” about 3 years ago but not crazy finishes or anything, just not gross anymore. That’s also very low compared to precovid numbers.
I’m in the suburbs which was still already expensive but covid blew up the pricing here
After seeing a picture of him, yea, that house makes sense.
Futuristic airport terminal (with a pool)
...you've never seen a picture of mark davis until now?
Gender swapped Kathy Geiss
Say what you want, but the person had enough class to not hang their tv above the fireplace, but to the side
Zuckerberg is starting to adapt the Mark Davis fade
I could swear I've infiltrated that place dozens of times. 210mm is the asking price and the henchmen don't even have NVGs? FOH
