Spoiler I’m just speculating as well, but I wonder if maybe the angry Rey with lightsaber is part of a training session or some shit and Luke is challenging her emotions/etc a la Yoda on Dagobah. Either way I am excite.

Just as a note, this isn't episodes X-XII but is instead a new non-episodic related trilogy, with new characters.
So basically this will be the big mini-series in between Episodes 9 and 10. This will be the big breather they put in between the two saga trilogies. And he's writing and directing the first, and sketching out the story for the next two. 2017: Skywalker Saga 8 - The Last Jedi 2018: Solo (Stand-alone) 2019: Skywalker Saga 9 2020: New Stand-alone (Obi Wan?) 2021: Johnson Saga 1 2022: New Stand-alone (Bounty Hunters?) 2023: Johnson Saga 2 2024: New Stand-alone (something Old Republic?) 2025: Johnson Saga 3 2026: New Stand-alone (Jar Jar Saves Christmas?) 2027: Skywalker Saga 10 etc, etc Yeah. Lucas was done and out of ideas. Old and bitter over how the PT was received. He was thinking about a sequel trilogy but decided to sell to Disney. Naturally they were going to go all MCU with it
holy shit, incredible news to come home to. Johnson directing/creating a trilogy where he's not really tied down to anything is pretty exciting.
EP1 is the least-rushed of the three. It's a terribly flawed movie but Jar Jar aside none of its flaws are crippling. EP2 was just a disaster of a movie. Lucas should be ashamed to have his name on such a poorly-made film. EP3 is overrated, poorly acted, terribly written.
But you forget to counter in episode II how good Natalie Portman looked especially after the large preying mantis got her.

anyone playing Battlefront? friend just told me there's some important stuff in story mode to see before TLJ. he also said he finished in 3 hours on easy which seems very disappointing. I have it downloading now.
