The planet is drunk on our carbon
This is like an EF-5 tornado hitting New Mexico
Alabama still prepped? Storm’s finally about the hit.
Interesting ranges on the potential intensity spectrum, could be a big dud or even a hurricane. Id bet someone far from the center will be surprised by the strong weather they get because of the lopsided nature of the storm.
Latest on Bertha?
Passed through south fla this weekend. Rained for 3 days straight. That sucked.
Already been raining a bunch here. River is way up high
haven't really seen any news updates in Charlotte but it's pretty much rained non stop here for more than a week. bad t-storms last week that knocked down power and took out trees, so far this week more overcast/non-stop drizzle ...
It's still raining down here
Radio just said there is a system developing down in the Gulf
We needed this rain.
I thought that at first. We are now on day 10 in a row of non-stop rain

There’s no water hazard on that hole
which thread are we going to use?
There is now
I would assume this thread, as it has all our history, but either one is good for me.
I mean, if we are going to post 300+ hour frames of the GFS, we might as well go all out and roll with the 06Z run:
Gonna be selling out generators early this year
I’ll take one
Shit, they sold out in March
Get me on The new Seminole course for free and I will

What is everyone's go-to site for tropical weather tracking?
I have a Weatherbell subscription through work, so that is what I typically use. The best site is I've seen for tropical weather is Weather Models (Ryan Maue's website), and I've gotten some use out of it since I've been doing some training with someone who has an account with them. That said, Weather Models is pretty damn expensive.
For free sites, I prefer Tropical Tidbits the most from a tropical standpoint.
I don't personally post on the site, but the Storm2k forums can be pretty informative as well, particularly with Atlantic storms that could impact the US/Caribbean. It's a combination of professional meteorologists and those just interested in the tropics, but a majority of the model guidance ends up on that site
edit: do not go to the site

I have started growing veggies about 2 months ago. They are getting killed by the sun. Any ideas on what can help other than shade???
