they are not very far... All of season two was about 20 pages total in the comics. The farm was very brief and they went to some places in between the farm and the prison.
To piggyback on Tigers... I remember last season thinking... man... if they spent ~12 episodes on the farm which was about 3 issues and in the comics they spent about 12x the issues dealing with the Prison/Woodbury... they're going to be dealing with the Prison/Woodbury for the next 144 episodes.
i just busted out laughing the way he said WE SPILLED BLOOD And also another laugh out loud moment was when lori started giving mouth to mouth. Now i think the writers are just trying to make us laugh now.
SIAP but do they have a goal? Reach a certain place, find a cure, find a friend? Or is it simply survive?
Would an island like Fiji or Madagascar or maybe some obsure place in Micronesia be safe? Do walkers swim? Would they go to the ocean to eat animals once all land animals are gone?
The prison sequence starts around 15-20 edition wise and goes up to around 40-50 iirc. I would be shocked if they spent anything less than 2 seasons at the prison based on the first couple seasons of the show.
Show is getting back to entertaining action/storylines but hasn't lost that shitty acting. Best of both worlds.
Comic book guys, do we ever find out what exactly caused/created the virus and how it spread? Was that covered in the CDC time? I remember the guy going over how it affects someone, but not exactly about where it came from.
Spoiler No, the cdc thing never happened in the comics. They have literally given no hints at what caused it.
I have only read the first compendium but here is what I know. I do not know if they ever go into the orgins. I assume it is spread in the air since everyone is infected- not 100% sure on that though. But it is never important to the story. Kirkman calls it the never ending zombie apocalypse- so there will never be any cure as far as I know. The CDC stuff was totally made up for the show. It is not in the comics at all.
On issue 24 of the comics Spoiler I wonder why they changed all the characters? Why did they make Dale such a faggot on the show? I like Tyreese but the comic books lack Daryl
I wish we could have fast-forward to everyone realizing it was a zombie apocalypse, the time on the farm was just too damn long. Happy that the characters have at least developed a little bit, now that everyone is completely on edge (outside of Lori looking after Carl) it makes it just so much more watchable. I feel like 90% of the moments were from the characters being written in a way to not fully appreciate the direness of their situation.
Playing the game for XBOX. Pretty good game and the story is interesting. If you are a causal gamer and looking for just a good interactive story then it is worth a buy.
Just watched, best episode in a long time. Wish Herscel would have just died. Pray Lori dies during child birth, show would be soo much better without her
That or they simply can't rationally explain this: "everybody has the disease and if you get scratched that triggers it but being bitten doesn't as long as you chop it off....and you can also seemingly swallow/kiss zombie blood without getting the disease." Spoiler overanalysis shield....but seriously any good zombie story should put some thought into the origin/spread
