This is 15 miles south of me
Well hello (saturday)
looks like is crying
Uh tennis balls, no thanks
That junk around rapid City is moving off to the ne and obscures the supercell behind it in this picture. Up to baseballs now are possible. No beer for this, just some bulleit rye
Supercell well off to the NE of RC
Lime sized hail? That's a first. Let's do this.
I just missed the tennis balls by a mile; I could hear the hail roar. So close (and that's ok). Got a lot of dime sized hail.
that’s a nice area. Which state? Don’t see many views like that around here.
Rapid City, SD. The hills look much bigger in person, I swear.
Round 2, although this may scoot just south of me
Fun day today up here in western SD... Lots of chasers up here so if anything cool happens, there should be lots of videos and pictures
Best look i got of this
Wish I was still in ND for what's going to hit the eastern part of the state tomorrow
Holy smokes. From yesterday
We’ve barely had anything but light rain since April 12 in NE Alabama
Luckily there's not much in that watch to get destroyed, other than cows and crops
Would make for some great pictures/vids of stuff tonight.
Yesterday's derecho in Colorado's Front Range (Denver, C. Springs, Ft. Collins, etc.) was historic. Drove through one populous area with impressive tree damage creating major home/car damage. I've seen 80-90 mph readings in the foothills before, but 80 in suburb is not one I recall before. 110 near Winter Park is fairly crazy. NWS Boulder also issued their two largest polygons ever, one covering 3.1M people (nearly 60% of state population) from N. of Co. Springs to the Wyoming state line.
Fuck I’m going to die
Don't die please
You had a good run, bud.
