Also for people who want to protect their ass in a lawsuit Think commas don't matter? Omitting one cost a Maine dairy company $5 million. A Maine dairy company has settled a lawsuit over an overtime dispute that was the subject of a ruling that hinged on the use of the Oxford comma. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna847151
I hate this T-Mobile commercial with a passion. Snoop dog saying mahomes is leaving. I swear it seems like it’s every other commercial recently.
My wife bought lightbulbs you have to control with a phone app. This seems entirely unnecessary. Get off my lawn.
Where should I take a train to from Amsterdam for a couple days when I’m there next week Paris leading but open to suggestions
My mom got the Alexa smart lights (?) and gets so smug because she can say “Alexa, turn the light on in the dogs room to 50-percent brightness”.
To the point I get annoyed walking in a room in my house that I can't tell alexa to turn the lights on in (usually because the wife manually turned them off at the switch)
Have to? Or are able to? I have probably close to 20 of the Phillips Hue lights throughout the house and being able to control them from my phone is amazing.
I have never heard of this person before but he's from my area. He recently died and left behind 3 kids doing his life's work which was saving dogs. Idk why you need small planes to rescue dogs but obviously dude had a huge heart. If you wanna donate a few bucks this holiday season, seems like a good cause. Take them from high supply to high demand. I have a friend who flies them from bumfuck Alabama and Georgia to bigger cities where they’ll be adopted.
If you’ve never been to Paris, go to Paris. Tons of great spots in Belgium and Germany that are easily accessible too.
I did London Brussels Amsterdam at Christmas time a few years ago. It gets dark early and the weather is pretty cold and wet. We did a lot of museums and beer drinking. Amsterdam is the perfect first stop so you can be lit anywhere you go after that
Love this thread, I get to read a heartfelt post about someone's former neighbor that spent a huge effort helping rescue dogs. The immediate next post after that is something that looks like actual feces that makes me gag.
So I'm legit considering putting a conversation pit in my living room instead of a couch. A classy one, of course.
My dad had a VHS recording of a porn that had a perfect “conversation pit” from the 80s that was perfect. I’m at home for the holidays so I’ll see if I can find this for you.
I thought about Prague or Vienna but just too far for such a short trip I’m going for work Tues-Thurs then free Fri-Sun before flying back Monday morning
Looks like ol nug is right after all https://www.themillievintage.com/design-living/modern-conversation-pits https://www.homedsgn.com/conversation-pits/ Spoiler
