Gonna check out this Netherlands mafia series that is on it's 6th season. Retired criminal journalist, Rein de Kort, investigates the dangerous Amsterdam underworld. Romano, Pencil and The Pope rise quickly to take control of Amsterdam's cocaine trade, but jealously tears their union apart. The Pope joins his old friend, Tatta, to rip off Romano and Pencil. The deal fails, killing two of The Pope's men, and igniting an overdue gang war on the streets of Amsterdam.
"Everything Sucks!" on Netflix is an easy binge (10 episodes, ~25 minutes in length) for those looking for a coming of age dramedy and wanting to re-live the 90s (including decent/good music).
just finished No Good Deed and really enjoyed it. Only 8 ~40ish min eps so it’s easy to blow through. From the same people that did Dead To Me and felt a lot like Only Murders
you should definitely check out Only Murders In The Building. It stars a couple of decent up and comers that could possibly make something of themselves.
Oh yeah, I've seen a movie with one of the characters in it. He was in Santa Clause 3 and he was the bad guy, Jack Frost.
My wife and I started watching Will Trent just bc we wanted to see if we recognized spots around town (our neighborhood Ace Hardware was featured), but it turns out it’s not a bad little show as far as network serials go.
Wife and i found this the other night and binged the first 3 eps. Enjoy it thoroughly. Excited for tonights ep.
I guess I’m like a network procedural guy now because I started watching the Kathy Bates Matlock and it’s actually really good. Naming it Matlock was clearly a network decision to attract viewers but the writers take a very meta approach with it (no relation and they make jokes about how she shares a surname with the Andy Griffith character)
How To Die Alone is okay. spoiler free, it's hard to continue to root for the main character at times and some of the tropes are unoriginal yet some nice moments of comedy & heart.
Complete series of ‘Homicide: Life on the Street’ is available for purchase now/finally, $30 on iTunes.
