Yeah she isn't really necessary for the franchise to continue imo. It's whatever. I'm sure they'll still reference her character, and that's plenty.

Talk about striking gold with casting Jenna Ortega in this franchise before she was casted as Wednesday. Her young audience will pay for this now but probably also seek out the old movies of the franchise.
I know. I disliked V greatly and vowed never to watch another Scream movie, but even I'm starting to waver a little after seeing the new trailer. She's such a likeable actor.
I’m seeing a lot of positive reviews. “Best since the original” kind of reviews. Seen several that say the kills are brutal and some unlike what we’ve seen before.
Also I saw someone mention a video of the killer(s) reveal leaked so everyone avoid that. I’ve missed it so far thank goodness.
Not watching that trailer but plan to see it Thursday night as well. I’ve avoided all spoilers yaay. I think it’s going to be great. I believe I saw #7 has already gotten the green light because of how well this one is being received.
