While I agree with all this, the clip did seem authentic. Edit: Didn’t realize it’s the start of summer break. Yeah, that’s a fake cliffhanger.
I think it might be real. Favreau has been trying to make this happen forever. Senator Stern in the original iron man was supposed to be played by Howard. Not crazy to think they finally made it happen.
he can't be anything but himself, he's way too weird looking, he's a gigantic skeleton with dyed jet black curly hair. I concede it could be real but the hot mic is 100% on purpose, that show is beyond scripted now and there is no improv zaniness to be found anymore, they definitely did it to make suspense for the summer break (he did something like this a couple years ago iirc). if it's real they'll either have him just be doing VA work or it'll be him in-person doing the show or something, I imagine for some kind of a mid-90s flashback/time travel thing when he was at his most relevant. still don't think it's likely because COVID has him so terrified he practically never leaves the house anymore. having him on a set with a hundred people running around at all times? feh! who needs it!
I'd agree. best comedian guest was Gilbert. there's a substantial gap between the two of them and everyone else.
Don't know what I was expecting but the drew Barrymore dating show was awful. He ripped on Markle all morning then drew gave me the same vibes.
he died three weeks ago at that, I'm amazed nobody got the word out. yea, unfortunately with the age of practically everyone on that show, if any major news happens there's a 95% chance someone has passed.
Somewhere in a Philadelphia flop house, John the Stutterer is laughing like the mad man that he is. Outlived Ralphie Cakes AND has rock star hair.
Serious long term illness he never told anyone about. Didn't have health insurance until recently. Went for a minor procedure and heart gave out.
this thread being bumped only means bad things and I had an awful feeling when opening it this time. they're all getting up there in age, this is the unfortunate reality. I think this time Howard really will retire whenever the current contract is up. outside of Ben dying, this is the biggest non-Wack Pack death on the show. between everyone else aging, Robin fighting cancer again, I just don't think he'll want to deal with eulogizing staff over and over and I wouldn't blame him.
He seemingly never worked a day in his life and leeched off of celebrities, so this doesn't surprise me.
