Iron sharpens iron! Old school Midwest basketball coach shit Conveys a total lack of respect and frankly seems like a horrible way to have whatever message resonate with any age group, but especially college kids
Every team I was ever on kids would laugh when a coach pulled one of those. Maybe blame the coach for doing something ridiculous instead of players for rightly laughing at it. Idk maybe teach them how to play better.
The response probably depends on how often that guy yells like that. It becomes white noise at some point.
I think it was Steven Godfrey who said the Sark era is starting to look like the Herman era on 6x speed.
In all honesty I'm kinda of the opinion you can't tell a whole lot about the trajectory of a program in a coach's first year.
Typically I would agree but when guys aren’t lasting through the end of year three a rough year one is hard to overlook.
Wins and losses don't tell much IMO. But organizational and communication skills can be pretty telling. At least from the perspective of someone who had a front row seat to Derek Mason's first year at Vandy
I would stop firing coaches every three years. Coaching changes are the only years y’all haven’t finished top 10 in recruiting.
they may be sniffing bowl contention with him. that’s at least a win against duke and i assume something other random big12 win and you’re at least at 3 wins with 3 left
yeah like he’s running through multiple progressions and shit bean may as well pack his room and transfer tonight
