I am of the opinion that it
A) is a retarded amount to be spending on hair every 2 weeks or 2 months for that matter.
B) is also something women do frequently do.

So in summary, we are all stupid hills. You, me and the woman.

 

Is it really something women do frequently? I'd guess it's a very small percentage of women that pay 200 dollars every 6 weeks for hair shit. Dudes in a uniquely bad and expensive situation imo

 

In my experience yes. My wife used to go once every 1-2 months at $150 a pop. I got that shit stopped the first year we were married and now it only happens near special occasions, compromise and such.

Maybe not for all women but for a vast number, absolutely yes.

 

The average woman's haircut is apparently 44 dollars

 

Looking forward to the day that you have a wife and realize that your combined incomes equal an amount that places her in the $100-$200 price per cut/color/style that combines with the price that all the target, walmart, 7eleven cashiers pay that a $44/cut average is achieved.

 

I live with my girlfriend who doesn't spend anywhere near that amount of money at anywhere close to a 6 week frequency

 

Or maybe you will marry a walmart cashier and be able to come back and prove us all really wrong because she gets hers done for $20 at Great Clips

 

I can't believe there are people who think 200 dollar hair appointments every 6 weeks are normal

Meh...my wife gets her hair cut maybe 2-3 times a year. Each cut is around 75 bucks. Once a year she may get it colored but even then it’s around $125

Today I learned that if you, as a white male, make more than $32,000 a year, that is not normal. Because average income for an adult white male is $31k and some change. And if you make $100k per year then that is not even possible that so many white males could make over that because the average clearly says it is around $31k.

 

Like only 1 or 2 guys in this thread could make over $100k because $31k is normal.

 

My wife doesn't spend anywhere near $200 every 6 weeks.

I don't claim to know what normal is, but if $200 every month-month and a half is normal then that's utterly insane.

I think you need to re-read. And then post the part where anyone said it is what every girl does. It is extremely normal for a large section of women in society to pay this much. It is also extremely normal for a large number of people to own multiple vehicles in a household while numerous other households have none and have to rely on public transportation.

You are just having trouble realizing that a lot more people than 1 or 2 get haircuts that expensive because your girlfriend doesn't and the internet gave you an average number to hang your hat on.

I somehow have the ability to understand that it is a shitload of money to spend on hair and also not just a handful of people doing it.

You are smart enough that I don't know why you can't wrap your head around it either.

To say it’s not uncommon does not mean that every single person does it. It just means there are good amount that do, making it a common practice. Especially in larger cities.

 

My wife pays exactly $200 every eight weeks. She makes cash so I don’t give a fuck. Just like she doesn’t give a shit when I spend money on items I’m sure she perceives as not being worth the price.

 

I have no idea how often my wife actually gets her hair did. Nor do I remember how much it actually costs every time. I just know it took 3 hours and cost $185 yesterday.

My wife got some straightening treatment at her last cut. Cost 250. Usually her cuts are around 80 I think. I don’t remember how often she gets it cut but she did apologize at the cost of this last cut.

But she also really liked this treatment which needs to bedone every 4 months or so. I guess this is just her slick way of getting me used to her paying way too much for a haircut.

Thanks Dairy Queen for reminding me about my wife's horrendous driving so I remembered to post this. It has been a long weekend so I forgot to post about this. So everyone knows my wife is a shitty shitty shitty driver. She went 3 years with no wrecks by some miracle. Call it divine intervention or lottery winning luck. Well I updated you guys a few months back with a story of her running into a ditch in the middle of the night and fucking her front end all up.

Well update number 2 we have a new streak. I walk outside yesterday morning and the whole bottom panel of her passenger side it fucking scratched bad. It looks like someone sprayed white spray paint all down the bottom panel from front tire to back. The right front tire has a massive goose egg knot on it. I ask her what happened and she told me she hit a curb. How do you hit a curb and scrub the whole fucking side of the car on it end to end? That is a impressive display of concentration to hit your front tire and somehow maintain control of the car to keep it flush with the curb all the way to the end. Also she was turning right with this happened so she seems to have defied the laws of physics while doing this. I am at a fucking loss.

 

Tmb where people whose wives dont spend 200 dollars every 6 weeks on their hair because they're insecure insist that it's a totally normal and common thing

 

Don't fight man hair is an area you won't win. I tried to intervene once and got this long ass rant about how I wanted her to be ugly that ended with me fucking 20 year olds.
