The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz

I think he's calmed down a little the last few weeks and hasn't been as bad. He was unbearable for awhile.

 

he's good at a lot of stuff, especially talking about the show and producing, and bits. I was mostly doing a reddit meme.

but 'homer mike ryan' and 'I know stuff mike ryan' are the very worst parts of the show.

 

This one is the worst. He did it about the UF doc and then he didn't say anything interesting about what he knows.

 

Agree. If you know something but won’t say it, keep it to yourself.

 

Just don’t think I can stand mike Ryan anymore. Producer and side bit guy are his ceiling. The amount of conversations he takes over to either say nothing or just talk about dicks has made him unlistenable.

Samson needs to go except for maybe with skipper. Than adnan/Samson movie segments are annoying at this point. Let him keep nothing personal but stop bringing him to the show.

foxworth is great and the best person they could get to maybe one day replace Dan would be Bomani who would absolutely crush it with that room. Maybe Katie Nolan could do it.

izzy cannot drive. Pablo is good but gets drowned out. But mainstays like Chris and Mike have just gotten so repetitive it’s not as fun to listen lately.

 

Finally listened to the last hour + postgame. WTF man? That was terrible

I love that she's crushing it and has legit knowledge that rivals any male analyst out there. Add in that she's not clasically attractive and the chud population has to REALLY dig deep to find a reason to discount her.

She is an elite talent.

Came looking for this thread specifically to mention that I absolutely love when we get the long stat of the day intro.

 

Ending the stat of the day song with only 5 seconds left in the segment was just incredible. And then coming back with 15 stats of the day.

I really can’t stand him and his need to act as the smartest guy in the room about literally every topic.

I don't listen to the show consistently but will pull up YouTube segments if I like the topic. Do people like Amin? I used to like him on ESPN NBA stuff when he was there, but every time he's on a show I listen to he's providing nothing and just being weird. And not weird in an entertaining or charming way.

 

I don’t know if I had ever seen him before so I looked him up while listening to the pod. I would never have been able to pick him out of a lineup based on his voice.

 

I really like him but he’s definitely best when actually being a smart person. He’s good more often than not. It was a damn relief whenever I hear his voice when Dan is out instead of Samson

 

His problem is that he wants to be the class clown when he’s best at being a smart basketball guy.

 

Is Kate Fagan out? I saw they sunset meadowlarkers and off the looking glass.

 

He’s a smart guy period. But I like some of the clown stuff but yeah sometimes he takes it too long and forcing something that isn’t working. But mostly he gets the show and is good

 

I like Amin. He did have a rough week last week and sometimes seems stretched too thin. I also can’t imagine flying cross country every week

 

He’s also got an obvious drinking problem.

 

Today’s episode about Brian Davis and the commanders “bid” was so good. Pablo is great at storytelling.

I couldn’t listen to the local hour. It said it was a 41 minute pod but in only got 2 minutes of commercials.
