Loved "Talk to Me" just wished the ending had been fleshed out a little more by about 15-20 minutes. I heard they're already working on a sequel.

 

And a prequel is planned. Supposed to lead right in to where the first movie started.

 

the talk to me cinematic universe is very not needed

 

Feels a little too polished looking for found footage but this movie has a lot of hype behind it.

 

Can't wait. Premieres October 30 on Shudder

 

Just re-upped my annual 1 month of shudder for this and the new V/H/S.

Just watched The Deep House. Reminds me of Blair Witch but underwater. I thought it was good, so was surprised when I saw the IMDB rating. :

The Deep House was solid. Nothing special, but solid. I appreciated the uniqueness

 

Enjoyed The Thing last night. Some of the opening shots with the dog and the helicopter are just incredible. Phenomenal animal acting. Kurt Russell was/is/always will be the man.

This movie starts out so strong but doesn’t live up to that opening. But it’s a small gripe, great movie. Though I’m more partial to the Hammer/Amicus Dracula

 

Exorcist III, Funny Games

for fun/background noise - Sleepy Hollow, really any Slashers

 

New Gein documentary on MGM+, oddly enough produced by Glenn Howerton’s wife

 

Just started No One Will Save You. Lets see what the hype is all about

 

The ending is absolutely nuts. You will either love it or hate it.

 

The sound on No One Will Save You is fantastic

 

I didn’t love it or hate it, somewhere in the middle but leaning more to the love end of the scale. It was definitely different so I can really appreciate that.
