"New" Ratboys! Released as a surprise on April 1st, 2021, Happy Birthday, Ratboy comes 10 years to the day since the release of the band’s first EP. New recordings of the 5 original RATBOY EP songs make up the A-side of the record, with 5 new versions of rare college-era tracks and the newly-written “Go Outside” on the B-side. Featuring mainstays from their live show over the years, including “The Stanza'' and “Space Blows,” pressed to vinyl for the first time and given the full band treatment, Happy Birthday, Ratboy introduces new Ratboys fans to the band’s beginnings while also raising a toast to those who’ve been there from the start.

Nashville's best and most historic indie venue fixing to become condos or some boutique hotel. City is officially just a playground for MAGA types to drink and young SEC grads to find jobs with insurance and private healthcare companies
I need a third album from The Courtneys. It's perfect music to listen to all alone on a rainy weekend night
Wasn't sure where to put this one, but I'll throw it in here. Couple guys from JEFF The Brotherhood involved. Really like it.
how cool is this Protomartyr shirt?? Spoiler it's a must KOP. But I am kinda curious how much the fabric will shrink. It says 100% heavy cotton so I assume a decent amount? If fabric doesn't shrink I generally wear a M and if it does shrink I need a L. What would you recommend? https://www.hellomerch.com/collections/protomartyr/products/caracalla-dark-heather-t-shirt some awesome stuff at the site above, merch sales are pretty important for artists right now
Hospital Bracelet kicks ass. A little of that Soccer Mommy/Snail Mail thing going on, but gets further into some post-rock territory. I just heard a guitar riff that made me want to start fapping
No Chicago date and an open date on 9/11 between Madison and Minneapolis makes sense with pitchfork’s rumored dates this year.
she’ll pop up at record bar with kevin or they’ll go do some artsy show at that weird hotel in tonganoxie or something
Pretty sure I failed to mention the Public Eye record from last year whenever I last posted in here. Oversight on my part, it's really good and some of you may enjoy it (especially if you like Institute or even Parquet Courts).
Really enjoyed their first album, unique sound, but one I like. Hope this is a precursor for a new album.
