Emperor of Ocean Park is set in the worlds of politics, elite academia, and the beaches of Martha’s Vineyard. It follows Talcott Garland, an esteemed law professor whose quiet life is shattered when his father, Judge Oliver Garland, dies of an apparent heart attack. The nature of the judge’s death is questioned by Tal’s sister, Mariah, a former journalist and inveterate conspiracy theorist, who believes that the judge, a failed Black nominee to the Supreme Court, met with foul play.
Apparently there’s a fourth season of Snowpiercer on AMC+. Guess I’ll wait for it to come out then binge on a 7-day trial.
Apparently the second season of Severance is going to be one of the most expensive seasons of TV ever with the average episode costing over $20 million somehow
Cowboy Cartel is the unbelievable true story of unlikely hero Scott Lawson, a rookie FBI agent from rural Tennessee, whose investigation took down the Treviño brothers, the leaders of Los Zetas, one of the most powerful cartels in Mexico. While the Treviños terrorized thousands in their pursuit of power, money and influence, Lawson risked his life on a hunch: tracking their brother’s racehorse transactions in the United States, infiltrating the deadly cartel and uncovering their international money laundering operations. “Cowboy Cartel” features first-time interviews with FBI agent Scott Lawson, who broke the case; IRS agent Steve Pennington; Irving police officers Steve Junker, Brian Schutt and Kim Williams; Assistant United States Attorney Doug Gardner; Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times journalist Ginger Thompson; and Joe Tone, the author of “Bones: Brothers, Horses, Cartels, and the Borderland Dream,” among many others.
David Zaslav just keeps winning (because he makes $40mm a year plus stock despite being an absolute loser CEO)
I get Disney, Hulu, and ESPN with my Verizon account. Needs to be a website where you can input all the streamers you want and accounts you've got and it spits out the most cost effective way of structuring it. Such a pain in the ass.
Mixing in yearly subscriptions with monthly plus bundles and having cable and terrible websites/phone centers, I gave up on getting anything cost effective a long time ago and just phase out what I spend monthly on TV. Really should cut the cord but gave YouTube and another a try and not impressed
I subscribe to Peacock and get Paramount from 247 and torrance everything else. I have YTV for cable.
The only thing other than live sports I watch on YTV is Aerial America on Saturday mornings if there is no PL or F1 on.
The hunt begins. The Day of the Jackal premieres on Sky, November 7. An unrivalled and highly elusive lone assassin, the Jackal, (Eddie Redmayne) makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee. But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch) who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake.
The original movie of the same name in the 70s is fantastic. I would highly recommend watching it. Oddly enough the lead in it, Michael Fox, greatly favors Eddie Redmayne. James Bond fans might also recognize Michael Lonsdale who plays villain Hugo Drax in Moonraker. Anyway, I’m curious as to the setting and backdrop to the story because it will be wildly different to the movie.
I’m on sabbatical from work for another couple weeks and feel like I finally have the time to sit down and map out how I need to tackle this problem. Going to cancel everything and then go from there.
Agree I need some time off work and life to sit and get it mapped out. Wife gets Netflix free though t-mobile We pay for youtube tv Used to have hbo max but recently didn't update my card info with them, so I don't currently have it and haven't missed it We pay for a bundle that includes espn+ and disney+, I think includes hulu but hulu fucking sucks on any streaming device I think that's it Could easily do without the bundle, I don't think anyone has accessed anything on Disney in a long while and as I said hulu is trash. Probably won't give up espn + because I really like tuning into random football games like north Texas (or before that university of incarnate word) where my buddy coaches, on random Saturday afternoons. But the rest of that bundle can go
Does it actually work for you on a streaming device? Seems like the only way I have found people who can use it is through their phone casting or something similar and that's a no go with my rural internet and wife constantly on her phone Every other streaming service works fine 99% of the time Hulu won't even load up
I've never had a problem using Hulu on any device (I have various Roku devices, a chromecast, a fire stick, a couple of random Android TV boxes, XBox, PC..) and I've never heard of anyone else having to cast Hulu from their phone to a streaming device to get it to work. I think you've really misread something somewhere.
We have 1080p, wide screen on Homicide: Life on the Street. None of that 480p with the 4:3 format or whatever.
Furiosa was so fun. Could have done without the accent/pitch in hemsworth's voice, though. What was that about
