Didn't I just see the other day that paramount was going away.? It could be one of the others, I don't know. There is too many of these damn services

I've watched the first three episodes of this on Peacock and they were fantastic. Looks like they drop every Thursday and there will be a total of 8. Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist Drama • TV-MA • TV Series • 2024 Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist is based on the acclaimed iHeart true-crime podcast about the infamous story of how an armed robbery on the night of Muhammad Ali’s historic 1970 comeback fight changed not only one man’s life but ultimately transformed Atlanta into the “Black Mecca.” When a hustler named Chicken Man (Kevin Hart) hosts an afterparty to celebrate the fight with a guest list of the country’s wealthiest, the night ends with the most brazen criminal underworld heist in Atlanta’s history. Suspected of masterminding the crime, Chicken Man is hellbent on clearing his name but must convince his old adversary, J.D. Hudson (Don Cheadle), one of the first Black detectives in the city’s desegregated police force, who is tasked with bringing those responsible to justice. Starring: Kevin Hart ("Chicken Man"), Samuel L. Jackson ("Frank Moten"), Taraji P. Henson ("Vivian Thomas"), Don Cheadle ("JD Hudson"), Terrence Howard (“Cadillac Richie”)
The Mormon Wives show on Hulu is pretty good. I still want a full explanation of the swinger shit but I'll take what I can get.
How did they get to use all the UF/Patriots official stuff in this Aaron Hernandez show? No way they were cool with that. Hopefully the guy playing Steve Addazio gets an Emmy nod.
I don't believe you need permission use branding from sports team in entertainment if it's a true story.
Yeah that has to be it. The 2nd ep is all UF. There is no way in hell they (or any other school) would approve this portrayal. They are very accurate with the roster at that time too. I know a player from those teams who has gotten some airtime.
Ballers was the first one to do it and it was essentially HBO calling the NFL’s bluff since they produce Hard Knocks and obviously FX is owned by Disney, another NFL rights holder. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...ses-team-names-logos-without-nfl-consent/amp/
