Honestly, I could not care less how much the guy lifts. It’s not like I’m really watching his videos to be impressed by his strength.

It was weird. Like DL 600 but only 225 was real or soemthing. Bench was only like 315 but all the plates were fake.

Very weird, esp when his whole thing isn’t about lifting heavy.

Acting super hard to make it seem heavy but just terrible form and bar movements that would never happen at those weights

These were a few of the lifts. I forgot this guy existed a long time ago but had my interest.

It's bigger than the eleiko 2.5 plate. How is that possible?????

My only mildly educated opinion...he's a case of getting too greedy and not just staying in his lane. I can't listen to his stuff about how to get stronger ever since he blasphemed against good mornings, but I've had several nagging injuries where his advice really helped. Know your role, jabroni.

Agreed I’ve used his moves for rehab on injuries but never on lifting.

Guy’s just trying to sell his supplements.

As said, take him for what he is. His advice is helpful to >90% of YouTube viewers.

I think that's what's so weird about him faking weights; no one cares if he was lifting 315 or 225 since that wasn't really the point anyway

Like the dude is in his 40's and maybe 180 lbs. I don't think people are expecting him to be like "I can deadlift 750 lbs!" Just be lean and give good advice for people to avoid injury. :idk:

It’s an industry where people are enhanced but try to sell you a diet plan that “will make you look like this”. It’s an industry where people use fear based language to get you to buy their movement plan. One of the most unethical industries in America.

First blood has been spilled on my home gym platform :tebow:

I was trying to set up the platform and should've moved the car out of the damn garage to give me more room...but I decided to play tetris with 4x8 sheets of plywood and needed up dropping one sheet square on top my big toe. :donotwant::donotwant::donotwant:

I don't think it's broken. I can move it. The nail will probably fall off, bleeding like a mother fucker.

I didn't have shoes on. i can hear my dad now yelling at me as a kid to always have shoes on in the garage. I'm not sure it would have protected my toe much, maybe some b/c of the soft sole impacting the blow

I have a waterproof IPod shuffle. It’s ok, shitty thing is not compatible to Apple Music. My buds don’t stay in unless wearing a cap over them.

From personal experience, shoes would not have mattered. Could take up to six months for that thing to fall off, but when it does there should be a new one ready underneath.

Any thoughts on row machines or a recommendation on one? Live in a condo so home gym won’t be big, but thinking that would fold up nicely and sick of waiting for a gym to open.

Concept1 for sure if you can get 1, it’s long but 2 parts so easy to store. I don’t use it enough bc of soreness from lifting

Concept1 bikeerg is pretty awesome too. Those are my 2 main pieces of cardio equipment and great

    Edit: concept2

Seems like this is the choice, but you cant even get them right now. I think I am going to go with that NordicTrack one because i can get in within a wk.

Big rower fan. Bike for steady state or tempo work, rower for high intensity interval work

What do you have? I didnt end up pulling the trigger on the NordicTrack one because Amazon reviews werent too kind. Said there wasnt nearly enough resistance. I am now on the wait list for a Concept 2, but this is going to take close to three months to get.

Leaving the gym and not having a rower was probably the hardest part. It'll probably be my next "big" gym purchase. Great for warm ups and intervals. Just fucking expensive

I'm really hoping that in a year or so the market is flooded with cheap used equipment from people who built a home gym and then quit on it like they did LA fitness or whatever big box hell hole they left behind

Bought a Concept2 Model C in 1997. Gave it to my dad about ten years ago when I upgraded to the Model D. It's a little on the loud side (especially compared to water rowers), but it's still the best rower on the market. Virtually indestructible, too. Wouldn't buy anything else

Not sure as the gym purchased it, but it’s some type of Concept 2.

Been having left knee pain doing squats lately. It’s on the inside of my knee along the kneecap. Is that like an IT band thing or a patellar tendinitis thing?

Also, I hate how much trouble I have engaging my hammies. I feel like the only way I can do it right now at my home set up is by doing leg curls on my stomach with bands.

I do not want to see that, the video of ASC and all the support he had for his 400 kg squat was pretty damn cool
