Anyways, how about Jennifer Connelly.
She’s still got it.
Unreal in that movie.
not only was Lyrtch wrong to say that, he is double wrong about Top Gun. Tough break
It’s now grossed over $684 million domestic putting it at 6th all-time.
$1.4 billion total which is 12th all-time.
Lyrtch is just mad that Top Gun Maverick isn't some preachy woke gender swap movie. In fact it is significantly less gay than the original, which was and is extremely gay.
the arc of of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards gayness
Are we really going to pretend that guy didn't deserve to be banned for a multitude of issues?
this concedes my point
naw, telling someone to kill himself when this board has an extremely active thread discussing personal mental health issues is a really shitty thing to do. Acting like it was only used as a tool to ban someone is a pretty lame cop out. It's ok to admit you made a mistake.
It's been fairly regularly used on here and no one says anything until they have some other bone to pick so they use that as the reason.
when it was the only instance of someone ostensibly being banned for it its really just the truth
So is my johnson.
C'mon. Somebody had to.
I don’t really get why you’re defending him so hard, he himself said it wasn’t cool.
I just want to remind you your grand pappy owned slaves and was rightfully removed from Cuba and this earthly plain for it. Have a nice day
It was literally used yesterday and no one cared.
Sorry I don’t have google alerts set up for when someone posts that in a thread.
I don’t really think that’s a great barometer for it anyways, just because someone didn’t get called out for doing something shitty doesn’t make it not shitty.
It's kind of the entire point that people only care when it suits them.
There way too many grudges on this world wide website
Note: Calling a shit person shitty is not a grudge.
it is very much faux outrage, florida state fans very obviously were rallied to grundies defense from their lil private domains (including ones who didn't post but reported my post)
logical consistency isn't there
He didn’t and died peacefully surrounded by family in his 80s despite smoking multiple cigars a day. Pretty fufilling life even if it was marked by tragedy and suffering in the middle of it. Sorry to disappoint you.
Guess we are just gonna double down and blame fsu fans today
I mean this is a pretty foolproof default strategy...
Wait... Lyrtch told someone to die and Redav is defending it because ....war grundle is condescending now and then?
maybe fsu fans just really like top gun
Feel free to engage substantively on anything I said.
If you're able that is.
Yeah maybe some people are doing that, mine is more of just a “hey that’s not cool even to turbo idiots like Grundle”, not really outraged.
thats why i responded to you genuinely, because it was in good faith
Mocking someone for being upset your damsel in distress told him to die
Parroting his "substantively engage" and "finger wag" lingo
Spinning it as an FSU fan beef
Rationalizing that everyone does it
My god, man.
At least he suffered. He definitely deserved it
What are you saying twice now with the damsel thing?
Yes having a debate is seemingly very normal but I guess not.
You don't even understand the conversation because none of that was anything I argued.
I have no bones to pick with Lyrtch. I've used that phrase before. I don't anymore. You can get your point across without using that language. You're really reaching to excuse it.
It's more than just FSU fans. You were wrong. It's ok to admit that.
You posted in a thread yesterday right after someone used and said nothing.
It's very clear there's selective concern. That throws up red flags to anyone kind of paying attention.
Lechnerd took something from the depression thread and said it to a guy who was unwell and I feel like the same posters probably laughed about it then and definitely didn't show the same level of concern.
Tbh I mostly don't care if people say it. The only one that kind of bothered me was Lechnerd as a doctor taking it from the depression thread and using it against wtx. But no one really cared when that happened so I guess I don't buy the fainting we're doing in here now.
So if someone doesn't read every post on the board for a phrase they can't call it out when they see it? Truth is I expect better from Lyrtch. I've porobably seen others say it and let it go bc I don't expect better from them or don't "know" then all that well.
To be clear, you don't think you're wrong for telling someone to kill themselves? I just want to be clear on this.
Ok fair enough
I haven't seen fanboying like this since OSU fans took Farva's back regularly.
We talkin bout the noles?
That's what you took from that post?
I do not think it was WRONG to tell Grundle to kill himself because he's a vacuous waste of humanity.
I do think it was in poor taste and lacking creativity. I was taking a leak so I had time constraints in responding.
We can disagree on it being wrong. It's definitely wrong to tell someone that. You never know what they are dealing it. I don't agree with him on just about anything but I don't want him to go and off himself.
If you don't have time to come up with something better, just don't respond.
You could also just go to bed.
i was at dinner, that'd be wrong to sleep at the table
Saddest part is that he was so desperate for Lyrtch's approval and his white knight act didn't even garner a like from his idol
The secret is you don’t actually go to bed, you just say it.
