This morning some student at my sons high school, in an Austin suburb, posted a threat to shoot up the school on Thursday. Obviously they know who the kid is and are handling it but I think we’ll just skip the last couple days of school anyway. This fuckin state.
I do support 2A, but I think we can do better to restrict gun violence. I am for a national gun registry and background checks. I don’t own nor have I ever owned a gun. I’ve only shot a couple hunting rifles in the back yard growing up. I’d also like to see some mandatory minimums with gun violence. Like 25 if caught with a stolen gun, 50 if you commit a crime with a stolen gun etc.
