Can wait up to 20 hours… I bet the average wait time is far less than that.

I find it barbaric that in countries like Canada, people in the emergency room are prioritized based on the severity of their medical issue

You should go to an emergency room here. You definitely won't wait for hours on end and then get a $2000 bill for it.

 

Every emergency room tirages patients. If it 's not life threatening, you're going to sit and wait. Except it's worse here because a lot of people use it as a doctor visit because our healthcare sucks and no one can see a doctor without it costing hundreds of dollars. So they wait until the problem gets so bad they're taken to an emergency room. It costs a lot and produces very bad outcomes because some people wait too long and it kills them. Glad we don't have socialism though.
