UCF's players are apparently already used to not liking their coach, so it would be a smooth transition.
no one expected them to get anyone worth a fuck but heupel sucks even with low expectations and it’s lazy if they hadn’t self sabotaged themselves they could have done much better
Any DC is going to hate life. Idk if he changed at all at UCF, but at Mizzou the defense was exhausted by the mid 3rd Q. The offense was either a 45 second 3 and out possession or they’d drive the field in 3 min and score. Defense was alway on the field.
That's very true but I'm sure the money could fix that plus he's never gonna get a big job regardless.
Yea i think we pay him well and he is obviously very comfortable with the climate/expectations...so my guess is who looks for that in his next gig.
the fact that the AD is already starting with the "why so negative all the time" attack is a sign that he has no idea about the temperature in the room. The fanbase is tired, angry, bitter, and skeptical about everything coming from the athletic department right now. You don't get up there, after announcing the most underwhelming hire possible, and say "cheer up guys!" Read the room. Talk about working hard, earning respect, etc. Don't tell the people to smile when they're holding pitchforks and torches.
Poot was arguably the worst coach OAT at TN, so I think Hoopel does slightly better. That said, #CS24 is on the horizon
and that’s after destroying their own football program to avoid pruitt’s buyout tennessee is down bad
