Nice to see people are starting to get what fans tried to tell them about that asshole. He got fired because he was dogshit at his job not because he was black
He’s so awesome. Probably my favorite Bama player of all time. So much fun to watch, and genuinely seems to be a great guy. Please stay healthy.
I’m kind of tired of the dog piling on bro because he started this thread. It’s not fair, because at the time he was a total unknown in the league but after multiple games of evidence bro felt like he needed to pick out the smallest mistakes in a game full of positives time after time season after season which is some real sociopath behavior if we are all being honest. So it’s not that he started the thread it’s the fact he kept going back to it over and over again while ignoring the fact that his QB tries to hand out interceptions and fumbles like a business card.
not really defending Flores but of course the defensive coach wasn’t as good at handling a young QB as the guy who seems to be one of the brightest offensive minds in football.
You're welcome to go through my posts or a few dolphins fans who openly wanted Flores fired before he got shit canned. There's plenty of stuff out there as to why he needed to before it actually happened. His OC hires alone "Who the fuck hires Chan Gailey to run an offense in the late 2010's?" were down right criminal and showed of a person who had zero interest in fielding a competitive offense. On the flip side Mcdaniel has zero interest in defense, but when it was apparent we had a defensive issues Mcdaniel fired the leftovers from the previous staff and went and got one of the best defensive minds in the game to join up. Your hires are a reflection of your head coaching ability. Just because you're a "defensive coach" mind you our defense was awful anytime we played a good offense under Flores, doesn't give you the right to just field god awful offenses and make shit offensive staff hires.
again, my post wasn’t really about Flores I’m just saying I think the Dolphins have a special coach in McDaniel and it seems like one of those coach-QB combos that just works really well together.
Sure but Flores was also sabotaging Tua and literally no one makes those kind of arguments for any other qb. Every time he does something people try and add some kind of asterisk for why it’s not actually him being good
I don’t think it’s unfair to Tua to give McDaniel a good bit of credit for the offense. Andy Reid gets plenty of credit for the Chiefs too. you’re not going to succeed in the NFL with any one thing. I think they have a really good formula working in Miami and Tua is a big part of it. there’s nothing more important than the QB.
Was sabotaging tua from literally day one. He never wanted tua and never tried to make it work. Guy wanted to start jacoby brissett over tua.
he got "suspended" and fined a bunch of money, but he's one of the worst is a group filled with terrible people.
Wonder how many other Tuas there could've been out there, but the guys got stuck with a shit HC and scheme and never got another shot after?
Yeah just saying blaming Flores exclusively when the owner was also trying to get rid of him also is pretty dumb.
Ross is also a trump mega donor, once tried to hire Harbaugh while we had a HC still employed, ect You don't see him in public around the team as much anymore which is definitely a good thing. Hopefully he has kinda stepped back and letting the front office handle things without his dumb ass fucking things up.
It's pretty well known among the Dolphins beat that Flores and Ross were circumventing the Grier ( the GM) to try work out a Watson deal after the GM had explored it and decided to not pursue it. A big part of the reason Flores was fired is because his and Grier's relationship was damaged and Grier somehow won the power struggle.
I was angry because I wish we could’ve gotten like an Austin Kincaid in the first round or a running back… BUT IT TURNS OUT WE DRAFTED ONE OF THE HEST RUNNING BACKS
Gino smith my guy. Everyone hating Russell Wilson in Seattle is quite literally the only reason Gino finally got a shot
Grier is a survivor, that's for sure. For all his other talents he must be a world class ass kisser. Been in the organization through countless regime purges since 2000.
His oline drafts finally came together I won’t lie I wanted him shitcanned over them but the patience with these dudes paid off. I can’t believe how good the oline is majority of our linebackers still ain’t shit tho
That is very dumb but just seems to be what NFL media will do to guys playing in a Shanahan style scheme. Mahomes also plays in a great scheme and is coached by one of the best playcallers to ever do it but for some reason it doesn’t seem to matter. I assume because so much of what Mahomes does is “unscripted” when plays break down, but it’s still dumb.
That’s actually perfect. The insane amount of New Yorkers living in Florida now will eat that up. “Donny T!”
walked into work today and one of our staff has been a lifelong colorado sports fan, including CU. I didn't really consider how awful this weekend was for people that fit into the Buffs / Broncos venn diagram. down bad
I don't follow closely. Yesterday's game was amazing. I mainly worry about him actually dying on the field
In 2008, the Wolverines and Lions went a combined 3-25. Combined 1-20 after Michigan beat Wisconsin on September 27.
Coach staff is also at fault too. Barnwell had O’Sullivan on and while he said fields is at fault he was discussing how nonsensical their offense is from an X’s and O’s Standpoint.
I mean its almost identical to the Tua/Flores situation everyone thought Tua sucked until he got a coach that actually worked with him and not against him it also helps that the GM helped get him Tyreek and a bunch of other non traditional athletes on offense like Waddle, Berrios, Mostert, and Achane
