One of the great regrets in my life was being too drunk to understand how to play during the tutorial so never learning how to play
Once you figure it outs it’s so good. I’ve never collected all the cards before. This play through I’m determined.
It’s the best for sure. Nilfgaardian is pretty OP also. So many 10 pointers and ways to pull cards back.
Welp, getting about time for another replay with all this talk. Still haven’t tried doing a new game+, might give it a go.
Not sure how Witcher does it, but its a New Game Save with all your power ups and stuff available from the start?
Just adds new flavor to a replay; saves you having to search for all of the potions and oils, but with the upgrades in armor, still gives you reason to explore to find new diagrams.
Well, I can start in White Orchard with Master Ursine gear and look like a badass. That's pretty cool.
That's basically why I do it. Sometimes I just want to enjoy the story again and not have to worry about gear and all that.
This is a game that will actually benefit from it. The original didn't have great gameplay and also has sort of a weird camera angle.
Sooo, cross progression is nice since I bought this on PC now. Do I do a New Game + or just start from scratch?
I can't fucking wait to get that old lady her pan back. Spoiler I love that you can pretty much figure out that it was Thaler that stole her pan.
It's gorgeous. Getting around 50-65 fps on RT+Ultra, but I need to lower some to make it a bit more steady. Have a feeling the console edition will be pretty damn smooth.
This game looks really damn good on PS5. Even compared to what it looked like when I was running it on max settings on my PC years ago. The vegetation is a lot more dense now. Lighting seems to have received an overhaul as well. And everything just looks sharper.
I do too, but I'm getting worked on death march from stuff that's behind me. I haven't adjusted yet. Might keep the new camera for exploration and move back to the old one for combat.
Would that require a manual switch out through a menu, or is there a quick button switch for this (I would be on console, FWIW)?
You can choose which camera to use for combat and exploration in the menu. I think it's under game play. It'll switch cameras automatically.
