So you're saying that using the real peanut butter is more of a distraction for the dogs, not an incentive.
My brother and his roommates in college cooked up a pan of regular bacon then threw a few dog beggin strips in the pan and told their last roommate “hey man we cooked some bacon up theres a few extra strips in there if you want them.” He ate them and didn’t say a word.
Some Karen who is the editor of mother jones complaining because the flight attendant on her flight said to have a “blessed” day.
This really is a terrible tweet. He says EST thinking that means eastern when it actually means eastern standard time and considering we’re currently in daylight savings time he gave everyone the wrong time. Truly awful posting
you have to admire Dershowitz's extreme conviction to white knighting every sex pest and pedophile who has a little money in his pocket. they need to crank the furnaces of hell up to 11 for when that old creep finally goes
I was in 6th grade when the first book came out and it immediately came off as lame, no offense to the HP fans here.
I had just graduated high school. I didn't know what it was until some guys in the dorms were super into it, but i just chaulked it up to something I didn't understand or care to. Few years later when it was all big and movies started coming out i thought 'well I'll try watching this' and was totally in WTF? Mode the whole time
I was 9 years old when the first book came out and it was awesome. I believe I read every book except the last one. I’ve seen one movie.
Harry Potter is one of those things I probably wouldn’t have gotten into because I would’ve thought it was lame but our 3rd grade teacher read the first one to us. If you gave it an honest try most of you that haven’t read it would like it too. It’s extremely popular for a reason.
I was already well on into Cicero and Suetonius at that point. Serious response was befuddlement as to why everyone was obsessed about a book that looked like it was for babies. My cousins actually paid me to read the first few chapters thinking I’d finally jump on the bandwagon but that only made me want to dislike it so I never gave it a proper chance. A rare W for being close minded and stubborn it turns out.
Rowling sucks BUT if you’re judging the Harry Potter series based on the first few chapters or even the first few books, you’re missing out on a richly developed, well-planned series
I almost certainly would have enjoyed it, especially if I had read them at a young age. I don’t know why but I’ve always been averse to fantasy novels/films that are at least trilogies like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones. I was going to watch Game of Thrones eventually despite knowing some of the biggest spoilers thanks to its prevalence in pop culture but the unanimous negative reaction to the last season has kept me from watching it thus far.
I didn’t read it until my 30s and I enjoyed it. For reference, Lord of the Rings is probably my favorite series and ASOIAF/Game of Thrones is trash
