Love how he'll revamp & re-release a great song from a previous album. He released so many albums while he was smalltime that a lot of great tunes got missed by many.
Been listening to everything on the undercard to get ready for Stagecoach. Do everything I can to avoid the garbage on the main stage and usually find a couple great acts on the Palomino Stage in the afternoon. This year I am really digging Dylan Gossett and Tanner Ursey. Palomino lineup is down pretty bad compared to last couple years which is a bummer.
got tickets for tomorrow night in Stillwater. If ayone is going holler at me and I'll buy you a beer.
not sure it goes in here or the indie thread but really digging that Fust album. music videos that are just drinkin beers with the boys>>>>>>
Was very meh on this album then the last three songs are all very good. Weird construction of an album to have it backloaded like that, of course maybe that’s just my personal taste. Leaving town is an excellent song in particular.
Much better than Cat’s In The Rain for me. Ends on a heater for sure, but On The Red River and Heaven Passing Through are damn good songs. Front half of the album is going to grow on me with more listens, I feel like.
Saw a Joshua Ray Walker solo show last week. Great fucking show. Played a couple new songs. New album coming in the next few months.
Alan Jackson played tonight in Tampa, didn’t realize he was dealing with a pretty awful genetically inherited disease. First time I’ve heard about it, awful stuff hope he can hang on in decent condition.
Been having a pretty pleasant time asking the AI tool on Amazon music play songs like callin baton rouge.
Dylan Gossett absolutely crushed his set at stagecoach. One of the best performances I’ve seen. Sturgill killed it like he always does. Jelly Roll made me want to kill myself.
This is his farewell tour, hope he's able to get through it. Among his songs I think Drive hits pretty close for so many people
I saw The Wilder Blue open for Flatland tonight and can honestly say those dudes (Wilder Blue) are some of the most talented musicians I've seen. They are fucking good. If you get a chance to see them, don't miss out. On another note, maybe it's because it's the PNW but the crowds at concerts are getting to be so fucking terrible now. Large groups of people just carrying on noisy conversations all night long, as if unaware there is a musical act happening around them. Honestly think the Yellowstone show has attracted a whole bunch of these fucking idiots who know 2 songs and are just there to hear a John Denver cover or something, because I've had similar experiences at both Zach Bryan and Colter Wall, but tonight was the worst. Zach Bryan had to pause playing because beer cans were flying on stage. And in Tacoma last year, Turnpike walked off and didn't encore, which was a first for me in the 10+ times I've seen them. Wish people would just stay home instead of ruining the show for actual fans.
I saw her at a fest a few years back and she was really good. Fun fact, her Dad is the wedding singer in Old School that sang the R rated, "Total Eclipse of the Heart"
Any Matt Heckler fans itt? Honestly never heard of him, but I see he’s playing The Bourbon in Lincoln on Friday. Been listening to him all day. Really like the cut of his jib. Very bluegrassy. Probably going to go check him out.
