Pretty sure the scholly players are all the ones listed in the tweet below except the last two of Mauch and Boesiger. That equals 11 players with 1 open scholly like Lincoln mentions. We're pretty lucky Mauch is coming here as a walk on...at least in the beginning. She may get her scholly after next year idk. She's got USA VB/international experience...top 20 rated recruit. I'm sure she had her pick of scholly's from plenty of top schools.
1 year player and back up to their top rated freshman setter that they're bringing in next year. Putting their eggs in that freshman's basket like Texas did and we did with Bergen to an extent. Hopefully it doesn't work out for them but the incoming freshman has the pedigree and Wisky has a history of great setters so it'll probably work out for them.
This would be the true test if Husk VB is different than the other sports lol Maybe the fact her BF will graduate after this season means she’d go somewhere else.

Makes sense to me. In/out calls are tough to see in some angles and if the tech can track in/out like tennis, it’s a no brainer if it can be afforded
been watching the new league a little bit and this tech is a huge improvement over the drawn out in/out challenges. nothing kills the energy in an arena faster than a bunch of reviews, either. Would be great to see if the B1G can adopt this, but I imagine it will only be adopted if everyone does so and I can't imagine the @poors like NW and Buttgers dropping 200k on a volleyball review system.

Don’t quote me on this but iirc for baseball and softball at least initially the B10 left it up to the school to get the replay system in place. I assume this is much more expensive than the BSB/SB replay systems but maybe they go that direction again. Especially with the B10 having so many good teams, I’d guess a majority are willing to entertain the expense.

Also...no non-football head coach at any FBS school should ever have a bad word to say about college football or their coaches salaries. Their paychecks are so over inflated it's ludicrous. Imagine running a real business that has $1.88 million in revenue, runs $3.45 million in the red, and the CEO takes home $950K/year. Lol it's so amazing how much football subsidizes Olympic sports in this country.
Interesting Nebraska is letting transfers continue to train/lift/practice with the team during spring. So Batenhorst is at spring practice even though she's going to USC. Thought that was unique. Apparently that's not done at other schools
It's because she needed to finish some of her classes and the team needed her for beach season. They did a similar thing with Callie Schwarzenbach last season too even though she had announced she was transferring to Long Beach St. It's definitely a good look from a PR perspective too. Proves to recruits and their parents that no matter what happens, the program/coaches care about their personal success enough to have that be a potential option if it makes sense.
Soooo... Only fair for me to post the not good news too I suppose. Not good Harper she knows better. While I was never charged with a DUI...I did stupid shit in college too so I can't be too critical here personally speaking.
