I mean college kids gonna college. I think most of us have been there at least once in those years, many of us have been lucky and a cop wasn't there. For her, not so "lucky" and she'll have to deal with that. The shoplifting of a couple cheap rings from Scheel's when she's undoubtedly making 6 figures with no real expenses is really, really dumb. While it doesn't compare to the seriousness from a criminal standpoint to her DUI situation, it's on the heels of it, when anyone in the right mind would know to be on their best behavior. I've got no clue what her punishment will be out of all of this but at this point it should be serious and most importantly she needs some help to figure out what tf is going on
