can anybody tell me what the circle on the left is? With the plus sign (+) in the middle, its been on my phone since saturday and ive looked and cant figure it out
Wasn't planning on getting the Pixel 2 but google offered me $350 for my old Pixel and giving me a free Home Mini. 64 gb Pixel 2 XL by the end of the month.
I still owe 500 on my Pixel XL 128gb (payment plan), definitely can't justify getting the XL 2 right now but I'll wait and see reviews and how my finances shape up in the next month or two (crosses fingers for signing bonus)
Listed mine (mint condition 128gb) on swappa for 600. Doubt it sells but if it does then I'll get the Pixel XL 2
Here we go again... Google is already running out of Pixel 2 stock That was fast by Jacob Kastrenakes Oct 4, 2017, 5:07pm EDT It’s been only three hours since Google’s Pixel 2 event wrapped up — but if you’re planning to buy one and haven’t gotten around to it yet, you’re already late enough to be on the waiting list. Many models of the Pixel 2 and every model of the Pixel 2 XL have already seen their delivery dates slip past the phone’s October 19th launch date. Here’s the current situation in the Google Store: PIXEL 2: Black 64GB: In stock. Black 128GB: In stock. White 64GB: 5-6 weeks. White 128GB: 2-3 weeks Blue 64GB: 6-7 weeks PIXEL 2 XL: Black 64GB: 2-3 weeks Black 128GB: 2-3 weeks White 64GB: out of stock, waitlist White 128GB: out of stock, waitlist. The situation isn’t great. If you want the smaller Pixel you might be fine, but anyone interested in the larger model is going to have to wait. There is another option, though: Verizon is also selling the Pixel 2 and 2 XL, and it has a bit more availability: all models of the Pixel 2 are currently in stock for October 19th delivery; both capacities of the black 2 XL are pushed back only a week, to October 25th; and both capacities of the white 2 XL are pushed to November 1st. That’s still a delay, but it’s not quite as bad. It’s no huge surprise to see a phone selling out during its preorder period — Apple does it quickly every single year, and in much, much larger numbers. But in this case, it’s not a great sign for Google. Google had a surprisingly hard time keeping the original Pixel in stock pretty much all year long, and we’ve been waiting to see if it would do better this time around. The company even made a joke about its troubles on stage. But early signs suggest that Google is going to have about as much trouble this year. It’s possible that Pixel 2 preorders were placed in far higher numbers than Google anticipated — but the Pixel, ultimately, isn’t all that popular yet. So there’s a good chance that this is just a first sign of stocking troubles for the Pixel 2.
I originally planned to buy from Google. But after having zero trouble selling my Verizon Pixel, having a guaranteed delivery date, and not having another bill to deal with I just ordered from Verizon. I also get the Home mini for free like you do from Google.
Project Fi Pixel 2 XL (64 GB, Just Black) $849.00 + Google Home Mini $0.00 $939 USD out the door, with rush shipping. Estimated to arrive Oct 17/18. I ordered from the Fi Store, which I think has separate stock/allocations than the Google Store.
How does the trade-in work with google? Do I get to keep my current phone until the Pixel 2 shows up? I can't be without a phone.
I still can't decide if I want to pull the trigger on the new Pixel or not. I know it's the trend now but the removal of the headphone jack really aggravates me.
Not sure, but I am not sending my Pixel in till I get my Pixel 2. Not sure I could survive on my old Nexus 5.
I went through the ordering process. It said they don't give you the money for your trade-in until they get your old phone so it's not like they're paying you up front and your holding out on them. I'm guessing they're lenient on returns.
They were giving me $155 for my 6p which I think is pretty fair from the other websites I've seen and the fact that I hate this phone.
Yea I don't think I got any more than that a year ago when I traded mine in. That's great. Anyone reading in the last XL? What are they giving. I'd love to switch back from iPhone but I like getting a new phone every year.
Can't pull the trigger yet because I don't know where I'll be living during the delivery window. Lease is up at the end of the month and I might be moving out of state. First world problems.
for y'all considering trade in. I think those systems are somewaht dynamic as far as inventory and making offers. I would guess as time goes on, and people take the attractive trade in $$ number, that the $$ offer might drop. How quickly, I have no idea.
I went ahead and ordered a 124gb Xl 2. They still had just black in the play store. It's supposed to be delivered 10-27. Now to sell my iphone and apple watch.
Try surviving for over a month on a 2nd gen Moto G like I had to when I had to send in my Nexus 6P to get repaired under warranty. I'm surprised I didn't murder some folks out of frustration from having to use that after using a 6P.
Anybody done the financing? I tried to do monthly because I don't want to pay all at once and it said it'd send me a letter in 7-10 days. :- /
I did for the first Pixel. Was pretty quick. They most likely should give you a yes/no today and then send you the actually letter/card in 7-10 days.
Anyone have a smart watch? Currently using an apple watch but need something different when I switch back.
In approx Q2 2015, Delta announced they were bringing android wear support to their app. I had a delta flight in Nov, and thought surely there would be a watch I was happy with and found to be of high enough quality so I could buy one in advance of my November flight and use the watch as my boarding pass. Well its almost Nov 2017 and I'm still without an android wear watch. They just do not seem to be 'quality' products yet. First were too large and no battery. No it almost seems like the hardware ecosystem is dead.
We are the same. My pre appraisal was $400.00 for my 32GB XL which is basically what I still owe on it anyway so I said screw it and ordered the all black 64GB XL
I have this and would recommend it (Pebble Time if the Amazon link doesn't show): I get 3 - 4 days of use before charging depending on the amount of notifications that come through. Pebble was bought out by Fitbit awhile back though.
I had planned on keeping the S8 for at least 2 years, but dang I want this Pixel 2 XL. Think I might cut some spending/save money so I can justify to myself to make the switch in less than a year. Of course, if Google hadn't produced a shitty Nexus 6P I could have waited until this was released...
I'm not doing a trade-in. Selling my stuff on Swappa. I can get over $200 more for it that way. I paid like $750 + tax for the S8 and got a $200 virtual VISA gift card. If I sold it now I could just about break even on the original transaction. But I already spend that $200 so I'd still have to find $300+ to get the Pixel 2 XL.
