lol. That's not me, just some random pic on the web I dont look muslim, that's just bert's made up thing because he thinks its an iceburn or something.
It really doesnt bother me at all, but if you want to continue to embarrass yourself and fit the racist Arkansas stereotype of using race/religion as some kind of insult, by all means, go ahead.
You call me an arab/muslim as if its some kind of insult. edit - I know it's all in good fun, but it really is ignorant.
Someone recommend a good beard oil. I know there were some recommendations in the old thread, but it appears that thread is dead.
How do y'all get a good neck line on your beard? I always seem to manage to fuck it up when I do, although I rarely go full beard, more like 2 or 3 guard scruff.
I'd google the inverted u neckline. I start by getting that done under the chin, and then moving out. The biggest mistake I see is when people angle their neck when setting it, making it go too high when their face is relaxed. Example: Spoiler
Pay more attention to the overall shape/angles you want rather that what you're doing with the razor which is a simple enough motion. Learn how to do that using a mirror in a mirror until it's second nature. Take your time until it is
Take two fingers and rest them on top of your adams apple. That's where your neckline should be. Then go straight across your neck, not angled up your jawline ( a mistake most make) If you have a shorter neck, just do 1 finger width.
Hoss Bonaventure and Truman what type of balm, oil and shampoo do you guys use? Growing mine back so trying to see what’s good out there. TIA
I went to trim mine last night, and I feel like I took a bit too much off, and now all I want is my glorious beardflow back.
Yeah. It has a lot of uses. Skin care too. Just pinch a tiny bit. Rub it in your hands until it liquifies and massage into the beard. Little goes a long way.
I just got some new oil and balm from Brooklyn Beard. It's the Anchor scent which is a more spring/summer scent. I use soap to wash it but I use the same conditioner I use on my hair on it everyday as well. I'll use the oil everyday when I get out of the shower and I'll use the balm to "sculpt" it more if I'm going somewhere where I feel like styling it up.Going to order some more beard soap just haven't got around to it. Probably going to get Professor Fuzzworthy beard gloss shampoo bar soap
The last time I went to the barber they used a Billy Jealousy leave-in conditioner. That was nice, not overpowering in scent, and didn't shine it up. Might look into it.
Ive tried quite a few different balms but Honest Amish is the one I keep going back to. Its great and easy to find.
I usually alternate between jack black and beardbrand for oil. Trying smooth Viking right now and have used grave before shave before but their scents can be strong. I use Zeus vanilla rum shampoo wash and conditioner currently.
