Probably around 2005 or so my oldest was in some youth soccer league where parents take turns being in charge of snacks during games, and I'd sliced up a bunch of watermelon to go with juice boxes and whatnot. Left the rinds (in ziploc bags) and uneaten snacks in the back of the Odyssey overnight because sometimes you forget stuff like that when you're shepherding small kids out of a car, and next morning the inside of the minivan looked like a tornado had hit it - raccoons had squeezed in through an inch or so open front window and ransacked the car looking for the juice boxes and watermelon. Complained about it on another board I used to frequent, they gave me shit about it, this pic got thrown around, and I've used it as an avatar ever since.
Girl has been battling with the insurance company and finally got it worked out and got her prescription that she needs filled. Of course it’s right when the thunder game tipped and she needed a ride to the CVS. Oh well I didn’t miss much. Washington is getting smoked.
She just doesn’t know her way around town that well and asked if I would take her. She said the cvs was on west Lindsay st. and I told her there was not a cvs there. She obviously didn’t know where she was going. It only took like 15 minutes so it wasn’t that big of a deal.
Hasn't been in town long enough to find the CVS. But totally in town long enough to start a new family.

I don’t think it’s a train wreak. The train is just a little wobbly on the tracks right now. It’s a transition period. It will either work or it won’t but I don’t think it’s the disaster you all make it out to be. I’m glad I can entertain you with my strange complicated life though.

A transition period is when you change cities or jobs....having a kid with a girl you just started fucking around with because she lost her goddam appartement keys 3 months ago is not a transition period. Unless you want a transition into paying child support for the next 20 years

Had to pick up one of the cars from a dealership this morning. It’s a good 60 miles from our town. My last words before she drove the car to work: “You need to check the gas tank, might have to fill up. There was enough to get home when they took it but just barely and they might have burned some off working on it. There’s a station halfway if you don’t want to fight the traffic around here.” First words when I saw her tonight: “The car is completely out of gas! It doesn’t even show a range anymore it just keeps blinking ‘low!’” “Did you get gas on the way back from the dealership?” “No! I didn’t even think about it until I got in the car after work and saw the light blinking!” “Well did you get gas on your way home from work after you noticed it blinking?” “Nope.”
