I am really bad at everything. I just eat shit I can pronounce. For example, Tonight”s dinner was steak broccoli and asparagus. If if am not in ketosis I never will be cause I am not eating any processed carbs or sugars.
Caved and had a couple Oreos. So much easier to do this without little kid snacks in the house. Sad part is they were right next to various quest bars in the pantry I could have eaten instead.
Not so much out of ketosis as I wasn’t in it yet since I just started. More disappointed in me caving. Done fairly well over the past year of just eating good with minimal sugar. Really tried to hit hard this past couple of weeks to support the wife but my kryptonite is Oreos and donuts. Can pretty much avoid any sweets. Good news is just eating those couple Oreos was a shock and I’m feeling it now. I can tell my body isn’t wanting the sugars.

I ate a fucking box of Little Debbie Honeybuns yesterday. A box. Sucked them down one after the other. You deal with the stomach ache, shake your head, laugh at yourself, and get that shit together the next day.
Kid snacks are the worst. Been tempted by a late night handful of goldfish many nights. I picked the kid up from the wife’s restaurant and she made him this marshmallow fluff stuffed cookie sandwich and when we got home he kept offering bites. Hard to turn down. I don’t want to lose my ketosis induced super powers so I stayed strong.
Realized at lunch today all I had eaten the last two days was bacon (I made 4.5 lbs on Sunday). Didn’t eat anything else. Had wife make me the keto pizza w cauliflower for dinner to change it up. Pretty good. Wasn’t as good as bacoN though. I do feel like my arteries are clogged though.
Also whoever told me not to make ketoade gave terrible advice. Every swinging dick on r/keto is chugging the stuff daily it seems.
been doing keto or no/slow carb and 16:8 for 2 years. the metabolic flexibility thing is real, basically never have the impulse to eat breakfast and have started to stretch it to 20 and occasionally 24 hours fairly easily. Usually a 3 egg omelet or salad for lunch and either salmon/broccoli or a salad for dinner. Alcohol when I do is usually Titos/soda or titos/water (preferably Topo). Don't really mess with the piss strips, from my experience they work early on but aren't super accurate once you've been doing it for a while. If you get keto flu when you get started it's typically a result of mineral deficiencies, take magnesium and/or potassium (which is pretty easy to get through food). Pink himalayan sea salt in your water is good for workouts, especially if you're sweating a lot or doing it fasted. The diet is very key, but portion control and fasting are the most natural ways to get into and stay in ketosis. A lot of people can eat a keto diet but overeat and it knocks them out.
Weighed in at 218 this morning, down from 226.2 on January 2. Pee strips said I wasn't in ketosis and I went 2.5 days of just bacon and then had 2 slices of cauliflower pizza last night. I did pee then realize I wanted to check the strip so it was like the last 10% of my urine if that matters.
I'm with you friend, I got both and I really prefer carb manager quite a bit more. I don't think I've even used MFP after the first few days and have just stuck with CM.
Doesn't matter when the urine exits your body in relation to the load in your bladder. The most influential part is again, how hydrated you are. You generally do not want to measure when you wake up or after drinking tremendous amounts of water. For me, that means lunch time.
Its just salt, lite salt, magnesium citrate, and whatever flavor deal you want to use, I have Mio. Just a way to keep your electrolytes up and is supposed to help a lot if you chug a whole one after a night of drinking (although you may want to leave the magnesium out since it can make you shit). I think you sort of drink it throughout the day to prevent that.
I’m attempting a 24 hour fast. I’m like 14 hours in and starting to feel hungry. Idk if I’ll make it to lunch.
Asian "action station" for lunch at work today Most days I can't eat the primary hot meal that's catered in so I'm relegated to the salad bar, which is fine. Not today though!! Load me up on that MEAT!! (that's what she said)

Yea I’m just going with the lite salt for now but once I get a routine in I’m gonna build on the go ketoade mixes. May be good to buy from a vendor like that then.
