Currently he’s indefinitely suspended from my fantasy team. Still decided on what the proper punishment should be
I’d be very upset if I had any attachment to the Raiders. AB basically just continued to bitch until he got the team he wanted all at the expense of my team.
i'm excited for whatever AB posts on social media tonight going at Tomlin, JuJu, and whomever else he wants to on the Steelers. I want to see this escalated.
I'd be more upset at the overall culture of the organization allowing something like this to unfold. And if I were a Raiders fan now I'd probably stop liking them with the move to Vegas so they'll get over it soon enough
I don't think the two are particularly comparable. There are a ton of things that have happened during competition that could be deemed more "unprofessional," but I don't think the context is the same.
Just want to make sure I’m catching your ultimate point here. You’re saying, that due to the context of a boxing match, Tyson biting off a portion of Holyfield’s ear is ‘less unprofessional’ (excuse the double negative) than Antonio Brown’s helmet complaints and reactions to Mayock? Even in the context of a fight, that seems crazy to me. We must have different concepts of professionalism.
The difference is that Tyson just kind of snapped and did it. I don’t think he and his team wrote down a strategy that went: 1. Hit him hard 2. Don’t get hit much 3. Bite an ear off
I didn't watch the Greenberg clip in the tweet, but I think we're talking about different kinds of "professionalism". I think it's reasonable to put them in different categories and say that behavior like Tyson's is "unsportsmanlike," and behavior like Brown's is "unprofessional." If you want to group them together under the same roof, have at it. Personally, I don't think it's necessary to do that.
I think Brown has made it as obvious as possible over the years that he would be happiest making as much guaranteed money as possible, and the rest is secondary.
I don’t think that is accurate. He got tired of Ben being Big Ben and being the absolute worst teammate on the face of the earth and wanted some place new. He and Rosenhaus were working out a trade to the Pats until the Steelers nixed it and sent his ass to Oakland. The rest is history.
2 days later and y’all are still going back and forth with fucking dump of all people about this lmao
It's great though. I always picture dump sipping on the fanciest bottle of dr pepper he has around while puffing on a corn cob pipe thinking, "got 'em," as he flexes out his fingers to write the exquisite posts that he forms.
For me, there would be a large intersection of the “unprofessional” and “unsportsmanlike” circles in a venn diagram, but fair enough.
You know, with all the hoops you jump through to White Knight AB, you'd think you'd be in better shape.
