BA had one of my most frequently visited channels and they couldn't even pull off remedying the issues when given a chance to. So dumb.
The white stars of the videos were getting paid a shit load more than POC stars. Sometimes not even getting paid for their appearances.

Local farm had some duck breast so seared it with a cherry balsamic reduction over some sweet potatoes. My wife is a bit averse to most meats so I had to cook it a little more than I would have preferred for her to eat it, but still turned out very well. Probably could have used some green herb for plating looking at the pic.

base recipe, but I did different/more dried chilies, more chipotle in adobo, grated some onion to go into the marinade, used “pork leg” instead of butt because Whole Foods was out, and used double the garlic. turned out great https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2019/07/charcoal-grilled-al-pastor-skewers.html

Mujadara, an Iraqi/Levantine peasant meal of rice and lentils topped with caramelized onions. Very filling for being mostly grains.
I know it sounds like I'm a shill for the company (which I'm not) but I can't recall the last time I was so happy with an improvement product for my cooking. Not only do the grates create those marks, they shield food from flare-ups yet still transfer heat very efficiently. Can't recommend them more.
Cauliflower wasabi mash Yeah the bagged Asian salad kinda ruins the picture but that was the afterthought
Homemade wild boar, sage, and ricotta ravioli. Sauce with homegrown tomatoes and herbs. Plated pic to come.
