No thanks on Etienne in the 1st. Also not really a fan of that trade down. Feel like they can do a lot better than a mid 3rd and a future first
There's absolutely no chance QBs go 1-4 Falcons are kind of in a shit spot. Gonna miss on the elite OT. There isn't an elite Edge rusher at the top of the draft. Don't need WR Every team always screams trade down but I feel like the Falcons almost have to do that and just take what they can get, even if it isn't full value. I don't think an RB in the 3rd is that awful of a pick. Ito Smith sucks
I know most of the Falcons fans here want Fields, but I don't want to take a guy 4th overall and sit him behind Matt Ryan for a year or two. We need a miracle to happen, either Sewell is there at 4 or someone wants to trade up for a QB. It wouldn't be awful taking a RB in the 3rd if we didn't need so much help on defense. My perfect draft goes like this: Sewell, then all defense until 6-7th to take a back.
I would like the Panthers trading up for Wilson but what the fuck is this guy talking about re: “all the investments made on the defensive side of the ball?” We completely gutted our defense last year and will likely let KK Short go this offseason. The only player with a “big” contract is Shaq Thompson, the rest are on rookie deals or stopgap veterans.
I could see 1-3, but eventually the move will be made for Sewell at 4. At QB 4, the reach is very real despite how many teams needing a QB
An underrated part of that McShay mock would be the Raiders going Ruggs/Waddle in back to back drafts.
Yeah, kinda sucks b/c if you don't draft a QB now you're going to be in QB limbo in 2023 and probably not in a position to draft a QB high
Right. It's why I am not totally against sticking with Ryan under a new and hopefully much better OC/Offensive staff. We need to move Julio (I'm going to be devastated), find some money somewhere and make one last run with Ryan. If Sewell is there take him, if not trade out/take the best D player available (Surtain/DL) and then draft all defense.
they social distance everybody in the stands to watch the on field stuff, all interviews with players are done via zoom Only way it’ll work
I'd give up #1 overall for Watson. I know he's more money for a few years but he's what you're praying Lawrence can be. And I don't trust the Jags to develop Lawrence so hell yea give me Watson. He's already super respected and can own the locker room on day one. We need a culture change and having an elite QB that people can look to can do that.
he has wanted to play for urban in the past, he could have the chance if they make the offer you are suggesting and he doesn’t have the preexisting relationship with the majority of nfl head coaches he will have with urban and here you are making this into a personal thing
You've tagged me multiple times about Urban and felt the need to quote me and bring it up again. I'm cool if they hire Urban. Not my first choice, but whatever. Hope it works. You can chill now. Hell they haven't even hired him yet lol.
You suggested the jags trade the 1st overall pick for him and I replied suggesting why it could work If you are going to be this sensitive during the entire urban tenure if he gets hired this may be a rough few years
Your posts make it clear that they were about Urban, not Watson. You tagged me about him last night. I'm just letting you know I don't have some huge hatred of them hiring Urban so you don't need to tag me about him for the next 5 years if they do hire him.
I’m sorry for tagging you twice and then conversing with your hypothetical trade request you brought up
all these mocks giving the eagles a LB at 6. have any of these guys paid attention to the way the eagles have valued the LB position the last 20 years?
Tbh draft threads peaked when shu was on the board claiming Logan Thomas would be a hall of famer or whatever
i simply can't comprehend seeing Smith do the things he does versus great players and defenses and never re-evaluate your draft thoughts on him
Seem enough of Barmore to want Vikings taking him with the first. Hoping for Paye but that won’t happen post combine
I'm not sure an adult with a shoe collection should go around calling anyone else weird but you do you.
Still crazy how young Sewell is. Won the Outland in a season where he was 18 in half his games. Gonna be an NFL starter while he still can’t legally drink.
Can’t see Miami going OL in our first 4 picks unless it’s a center like the OU kid after we spent the draft capital and free agency money on 2 tackles, and 2 guards
How do they put a guy they have ranked 97th overall and 9th at his own position at the 17th pick?? Wtf
