Oh man who would've thought Ramsey was self absorbed and didn't really give a shit about others. I thought coaches largely chose hosts as true freshmen or guys who were redshirting so they could more relate to guys who were in the recruits position not long ago and whatnot? Ultimately I have no idea how these middle aged (largely white) coaches can have any conversations longer than a few minutes with (largely black) 17-18 year olds, there's only so much football to talk about. Coach says, "I will do my everything in power to get you to the NFL." Recruit says, "Ok thanks coach I trust you." Even being harsh on Jimbo I'm sure there was a lot of other stuff discussed. Coaches are salesmen who'll do and say anything, the ones with the most charisa/recognition of who is in charge of a recruitment are the ones who win on the trail.
we wanted him this summer, he just chose UF due to depth chart. Sorta surprised we would take him with another zero tech committed but cant have enough big bodies.
Think it's just tea leaves that UGA is trending, I'm not 100% sure he's a take for you at the moment. As such, we obviously told him to look elsewhere.
Michigan was on him as well before its DT recruiting went into the toilet in June/July. If UGA isn't after him, I could see Michigan trying to get back in there with the need for a NT in the class after swinging and missing on everyone last year and so far.
Haven’t heard anything otherwise but Mississippi. One of the good things we did this cycle is explain that we would not be great on the field. So there’s no real expectations on that end. Dumb coaching decisions though…
weird recruitment so far, miami was very confident back in the spring but its been super quiet since then dt has been a nightmare so far, scott and stone both told the staff they were coming, stone 2 hrs before his announcement so there should be tons of funds available for mr breland
I always forget about Oregon for some reason. I think they're probably also a more likely destination than UGA
