The Totallee soft case is perfect for my needs. Minimal but enough protection if it falls out of my pocket or off the couch.
Dear Apple bros....anyone have their iPhone Sim cards below up when iOS 17.1 updates? Just happened to my wife's phone. Can't get it resolved. Seems to be a wide spread issue fucking over a lot of people
so the sim card stopped working, meaning you have no service now? if you put a different sim card in it, does the phone work? if so, then contact your carrier. they should be able to replace the card but if they have nothing, then you can do a restore via iTunes because that will reset the sim profile if a new sim card does not work, you can still try a restore but that tends to be more of a hardware issue. but I would not go to a store, I would call the carrier and also restore the phone/call AppleCare to check the activation profile
Yeah, she has no service. Say sim care failure or something else. We don't have another Sim Card. She also doesn't have service to call...I guess she can call on mine. It's verizon https://discussions.apple.com/thread/255141724
Mine was also Verizon. Just went to the store and they replaced it. But it was just after an update. Not saying they a cause and effect there, but
Idk, it's the only iPhone we have. Aren't Sim cars specific to a carrier or phone number? Would and old Sim card fix it?
it just needs to be the same style sim, which all phones of the last 8 years or so should be nano sim (until the most recent e-sim stuff) so it can be an android on at&t as long as the card is the same
Not trying to be dumb, but what happen when I insert and old sim card that is associated with a deactivated phone? It's not going to cell service, right? Or is there some other kind of error that will help me?
Okay, so take the sim card out if my working superior Samsung and put it in her phone....just to confirm a working simcard fixes the issues??
Is there a good place to find new watches, previous series? wife needs a new one. But she doesn’t want/need the newest. Really she just cares about heart features and fitness tracking. Also wonder if a Fitbit or something would be best.
I've got one I'll sell you. It is the SE. Space Grey. GPS only. 44mm. Great shape, have original box etc. Just sitting on a shelf at the moment, been too lazy to try to sell it locally.
I looked at the SE. the comparison I saw didn’t show it with much heart monitoring compared to the 6 and beyond.
There’s going to be a bunch of deals this weekend, if they aren’t already. Check out Slickdeals website, I always see them on there.
In this day and age, unless it’s a known company plz do not buy apple devices off of eBay. You are asking to buy a bricked device due to Find My.
I went with a Fitbit. Wasn’t worth the trouble, lol. I find it hard to believe every previous series sold out. Just wonder what all these stores did with left over stock. Does Apple buy them back?
Yea it's supposed to be super simple but I've had verying degrees of trouble everytime I've done it. You are supposed to just unscrew, replace battery, screw the top on. Hasn't worked that well for me.
Got a new MacBook Air like a month and a half ago. If I use Safari to watch YouTubeTv or Youtube every few moments there is a soft popping/cracking noise. Use Apple Music nothing. Is there away to get that to stop on Safari? Use a different explorer for videos? Take back? Anyone Bueller?
Sounds like a software issue with safari so I doubt returning it would do anything. Does the noise happen while using chrome or Firefox?
definitely test another browser to see if it's universal or app specific shouldn't be anything in safari to make it browser specific
Anyone buy a refurbished iPhone? I broke my current phone and I don’t wanna shell out for a new one. Anything to look out for other than to make sure it’s unlocked?
the DOJ is looking into Apple blocking Beeper’s iMessage functionality https://www.engadget.com/us-lawmake...ocking-of-beepers-imessage-app-122554473.html
Looking to get a used M1 Mac Mini with 16 GB ram. Is there a year that should be avoided for any reason?
The govt would love to take away some control Apple has over its iMessage privacy but the whole beeper thing seems like a complete overreaction.
isn't that the company that is also making you sign into its website/server with your apple id and password in order for it to work?
I am contemplating it too. Just wondering if they will continue to provide support for it if they have to take it off the market completely.
Are these things a necessity for AirTags or can I get away with not using any form of holder? Belkin Apple AirTag Secure Holders with Key Ring - Durable, Scratch-Resistant Case with Open Face & Raised Edges - Protective AirTag Keychain Accessory for Keys, Pets, Luggage, & More - 2-Pack White https://a.co/d/aXMnhrd
I have my AirTags in those. The AirTags are pretty slick plastic so if you have it loose in a pocket or something there’s a chance it pops out IMO. If you’re gonna stick it in a zippered pocket somewhere then I think it’s fine solo.
