I have no trouble downloading music, so the podcast thing is frustrating. I don’t want to take my phone when I run, so that’s the reason for needing to download.
My AirPod pros 2 have been messing up as of late. One AirPod randomly works and and when I reset them, the other AirPod starts working and the other stops
15 Pro: Been having a latency issue / issue with touchscreen freezing relatively frequently within many apps.
I honestly think it’s been all of them… I know that tends to happen with new phones and updates to iOS, until the apps update on their end… but it’s been worse than I ever recall
Do you need to have anything special like Apple Care for this or no? Just show up, explain that one doesn't work at times and they will swap them out? I believe I have the AirPod Pros.
Well fuck. Completely whiffing on both there. And that's something because as nexus has pointed out before, I am basically a fan of every team.
If it's a common problem they will swap them out regardless of Apple Care. I went through a half-dozen or more of the original Pro's for the same issue. Finally around this time last year they just gave me a new pair of 2nd generation Pro's. No issues since.
Hello from my new iPhone 15 Plus. The new Bluetooth process to transferring phone data >>> iCloud/Wifi. Also ordered a pelican case for $15 off Amazon rather than paying the $50 at AT&T
ATT bungled the pre-order so badly that half of the people who pre-ordered online (like me) basically got stuck in some sort of backorder queue while getting jumped by tons of other people. canceled the pre-order on 9/29, ordered from costco, shaved a week off the estimated delivery time and got a $100 giftcard.
The guy at AT&T raved about them. Knew you wouldn't put your name on anything that wasn't high quality.
Car has stuff about wireless CarPlay, but still can’t figure that out. Guess I’m officially old man now.
Why did apple put the snooze button and the off button on the watch alarm so close together and not let you know which button you hit? Have an alarm you want off? Did you want snooze? Find out in 9 minutes if you hit snooze or off!
You should just have to pair your phone to your car Bluetooth. It should automatically try to connect to CarPlay (although your phone may prompt you to allow it) if you open the CarPlay app on your car infotainment center.
It says to hold the speaker button on the wheel, and it shows my car on the list, but nothing happens.
Does it show your car listed under MyCar? Or under Other cars? I don’t know why it says that in the CarPlay setup menu. Maybe it’s required for some cars, but I’ve never had to do that in my cars before.
Took them to the Apple Store and they ran a diagnostics test. Multiple issues with them, they’ve sent them off to be repaired. Cost me nothing (thanks Apple Care +)
With everyone else upgrading and migrating from lightning cables, any one have any they prefer? Can we just use any standard USB-C to USB-C?
Any specific ones for car play? My truck has the usb-a, so I wanted to confirm before I bought anything.
So the watch also recently had an upgrade. Before I could swipe up and see my battery percentage left and now with the upgrade it doesn't show that screen there when I swipe up. How do I get there now?
Curious what most of the board is using the "Action Button" to do on the 15. The opportunity for a shortcut is appealing but was curious what others were doing.
I’ve really only had it set to the usual vibe/ring. I’ll probably tinker with it at some point though.
Due to the size mine fell out of some shallow pockets before I got a case on it, very minor but still left a knick
Still for silent. Is there another easy way to quickly switch between silent/ringer? Like the idea of other actions, but I usually switch between the two sound options. I should just wear my watch more often, and leave phone on silent.
