It's not very funny. He saved those kids lives. He put his life on the line to stop the bullet he shot from his gun.
police reform is so easy. Charge assholes like this with murder. Make the union pay the settlements out of the retirement fund. You’ll see a ton less of shit like this.
For being accused of stealing booze. Police didn't say whether or not the alcohol she was accused of stealing was in the vehicle. Which likely means it wasn't. There were people bootlickers on the Columbus subreddit the day this happened saying she had a gun she was brandishing at people and police and that she was acting crazy and probably under the influence. If she had a gun the cops would have said so immediately. And now with body cam footage you can see she wasn't acting crazy either. Also, it's wild that the police are hiding the identities of the officers involved for now because they're "victims." One of vehicular assault because she let the car start moving forward at about 1mph and the other of misdemeanor assault because his arm was inside the window as the car started creeping forward.
You can hear the dispatcher mentioning someone "hallucinating" on the radio but it seemed pretty obvious to me that it was in reference to a call completely unrelated from this. They were originally there helping a stranded motorist, then the store employee comes out accusing her of stealing booze
Beating a 3 year old unconscious deserves the death penalty and this dude got a suspension and kept his job?
Three year old could have been armed with a .38 with fentanyl-laces bullets. He was in fear for his life.
A key word here ‘accused’ i would not want to wreck that party but giving the death penalty to anyone accused of beating a 3 years old unconscious might not be the best idea in the world.
That scumbag must have some outstanding relationships with women outside of work(sarcasm). I would not give him the benefit of the doubt, but he got suspended for being accused, not convicted
i understand your point, I guess I am still a little too gullible still but accused versus convicted is pretty important i get that you would question the accusations not becoming a conviction. Fair
So to be clear you think he was suspended without pay with no proof? This is the hill you are going to climb?
Yes, exactly. But maybe I am again underestimating how stupid your country is because there is no fucking way this would fly over here if he indeed did beat the kid. they would suspend him without pay for 3 weeks because he put himself in this situation even if he did nothing to the kid
He was indicted back in 2016. Can’t find anything on a conviction, but here’s the story on the indictment. https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/police-officer-indicted-on-child-abuse-charges/79948/?amp=1
