I still haven't taken the plunge and gone completely bald yet. I'm not sure how I will look with a bald head and a Grizzly Adams beard.

I just took the plunge and shaved my head. Only 24 and my hair has been thinning the last few years. I'm still on the fence about the new dew. :/

 

I looked retarded trying to go the shaved head route but generic propecia's got my mane looking relatively luscious now

 

So I was snapping pics of my current beard for no shave November and I decided to snap a photo of the top of my head to see just how bad it was. yeah it's getting bad

 

Yeah I don't care. I still have a big beautiful beard so I'm not giving many fucks

 

I don't even care too look anymore.

 

It was the first time I really looked in a few years. It was shocking. I'm balding just on top though. The sides and the back grows as fast as my beard.

Yeah same for me. My beard, sides and back grow pretty quick. Last time I looked was like two years ago and decided then that there was no need to do that anymore.

I usually just cut it really short all over but since I've moved to cooler climates I've left it a bit longer. I wear a ball cap most of the time too. I didn't realize it was that bad though.

I still got a way to go, but I will embrace the baldness when it starts to set in. In about 5 years I am just going to probably hit the whole head with 1 guard. I call it the Agassi.

 

shit that regrows your hair if you're not too far gone but not the name brand so like 1/3 or the price, my hair's thicker than it was for most of college

Hogfan, just shave it. I made the great decision to start cutting it with a 2, then a 1, and then no guard (which is basically shaven) before it caught up with me. Most women find it sexy when a nan is confident enough to shave it. They don't find it confident holding onto your youth.

 

I just use a Conair trimmer with no guard. Can't use a razor it just feels weird. Plus girls kind of dig the Jason Statham look.

I still wear hats a lot mainly for protection. Saved me from getting my head cut open on several occasions.

I looked into Propecia a few years ago but the side affects it appears to have on your reproductive system just don't sound like it is worth it.

 

Shave it hogfan. Looks better & you'll like it much better.

shaving it yourself takes some practice. I can't quite get the back-left portion of my head for some reason. The wife has to finish it off.

 

I've had two vasectomies. Short of these side affects rendering my penis useless during sex, I might need to look in to this.

 

not bald, but i fucking hate my hairline. it wasn't that bad in high school or my first couple years of college, but it receded back when i was 20-21 years old. it hasn't gotten any worse in the last 5-6 years and resembles the identical hairline that my mother's father has, but damn it's annoying. pretty much eliminated my ability to rock the frat shag. now i have to pretty much keep my hair relatively short to keep it from looking stupid.

 

I'm 24 and thinning, it used to be receding but that has slowed down i think. Now I have a little bald spot on top about the size of a nickel and I guess it will grow. My hair is really fine and straight. But my ears poke out so I know I'll look retarded bald. I have the Bosley shampoo for about 2 months. It's supposed to kill the toxin or whatever that causes baldness. My moms dad had receding hair but he had plenty on top. Well see I guess

 

Those side effects are pretty rare. I really haven't run into too many people that have had a problem. It is the same drug as Proscar (used for treating an enlarged prostate)

just went team .5guard this morning, it has taken me about 5 years to go from 4-guard all the way to here, not sure if I'll ever fully shave my head

 

I didn't bic it but I went to 1/8". After seeing it, I can deal with it bring this short. With me not trimming my beard though for the winter, I look like a fucking convict now

 

You will. ONce you realize how much cleaner it is. It's a pain in the ass shaving your head with clippers because it leaves such a fucking mess.

Get a fogless mirror, a Gilette Fusion, and shave in the shower.
