Been in an Airbnb for work the past 3 nights, only had Netflix. Watched Meet The Parents, Rush Hour, and Rush Hour 2. All of them hold up extremely well, laughed my ass off. Probably a few problematic jokes in the Rush Hours but nothing compared to 40 year old virgin and that timeframe.
I was at a work conference and missed the Brutalist special screening announcement, and there’s no good seats left at the KC screening anymore. Did secure tickets for this Friday and cannot wait. Watched The Substance last night after the game and thought it was great, the gross and gory makeup and whatnot ruled.
Chris Tucker only has like 15 movie credits to his name and with the exception of House Party 3 they’re all pretty good to great
Uh, just because a movie came out in the 90s (when I was in my teens) does not automatically make it good. I saw that movie in theaters and it was a waste of money. It's literally his worst movie he starred in.
Snack Shack hit this old Husk right in the nostalgic feels. My aunt was the director for the city pool. Only unrealistic part was none of the ahole kids tried paying with wet dollars.
Finally saw A Different Man with the Winter Soldier and I honestly have no idea what that was supposed to be.
Spoiler guy who thinks all his problems are due to his facial growths finds out it's actually because he is bitter and inadequate by watching a Chad with facial growths live his dream
Big part of the reason people don’t go to the theater (I know there’s a bunch of other reasons but that’s part of it)
Every once in a while my local theater actually shows something decent. Just got done watching From Ground Zero. It’s 20ish short films shot by Palestinians. Absolutely soul crushing stuff. Of course, nobody else was there besides myself and my parents If any of you see this screening locally, would highly, highly recommend going to see it. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/From_Ground_Zero Edit: LMAOOOOO Yakima we MADE IT!
New Ehrlich banger dropped. Trigger warning, that piece of garbage Feathers McGraw is included in this montage
I’m really hoping the music box picks it up. They’re showing it in February and they do acquire movies every once in awhile.
only knew who Robbie Williams was because of the song "Millennium". I do love the Brits getting their knickers in a twist about America's indifference about him.
Reminder to check your local theaters this coming weekend for Sing Sing. Just popped up in mine for Friday, Saturday, Sunday only.
Unless I’m just going to the wrong source, looks like it’s only playing chicago suburbs but no theaters in the city. Very cool a24
I can't emphasize enough how that director nailed early 90's SE Nebraska...said it before when I first saw it but the only glaring omission is the girl should've been driving a Suzuki Sidekick or a Geo Tracker. When the mom dropped a Kay Orr reset I was sold
Exactly. I didn’t know that either but I bet a lot of people read that and thought he was because they don’t know who either of them are.
Has anyone ever seen Robbie Williams (non-monkey suit) and Robin Thicke in the same place at the same time?…
They keep remaking movies but I’m watching 13th Warrior and I don’t know if they can top the original.
