watched American Animals
good ass movie, highly recommend, it’s on Prime
Watching the true history of the Kelly gang. It's a bit weird and they made all of the characters gay.
97% on Rotten Tomatoes, 83 on Metacritic
friend saw it yesterday and said it was v good
Yeah it took me two seconds to read the plot and I'm already in.
I've seen it and would recommend, so would Marc Maron ;)
It was awesome. Maron is spot on
Pig was great. Just needed more finish to it for me. Or I was just to dumb to read into what it gave me.
This looks interesting.
I made it through 10 minutes of Cosmic Sin before shutting it off. Just an absolutely horrible movie.
Completely unrelated, watched "The Hotel New Hampshire" this weekend. One of the strangest movies I have ever seen
I'm way behind on this but watched Hunt for the Wilderpeople the other day. Amazing movie.
Love that movie.
Saw this one pop up on my PLEX, has anyone seen it?
Just watched Palmer on Apple TV. Big time recommend. Big time
Just reading through this and had to shame you for trying to make fetch happen. In Bruges is 1000% his best
Watched Voyagers (Amazon), not too shabby of a Sci fi flick
saw Free Guy today and enjoyed it. Kind of seemed like it was the best version of Reynolds' talents after Deadpool 2 went a little off the rails.
Want to see this. Getting better reviews than I expected.
I liked it more the more I thought about it. Also has some fun cameos.
Well I love time loop movies, and it looks close enough to one. Will watch.
Pig was awesome. Expected a John Wick type of story but I’m glad it wasn’t like that.
Don’t watch CODA if you don’t want to weep like a baby.
9.5/10. AppleTV Plus.
Probably deserves its own thread.
I'm incredibly hungover, so watched some bad movies today.
First one was The Ruins -- about some tourists who go to some sketchy temple in Mexico but get trapped by a killer plant/vine that kills everything touches. Crazy gory. 6/10
During credits Amazon suggested "Indigenous," so I just let it roll right into the next one. This is about some tourists that go hiking in Panama and get stalked by a humanoid chupacabra -- you learn that the Panamanian military knows about this chupacabra, and wants to prevent the rest of the world from knowing -- for tourism I think? But the protagonist is able to upload a video to Facebook and it goes 'viral,' which in turn means everyone watches live as this chupcabra attacks this woman on like live news. It was as absurd as it sounds. 5/10
Now watching Jungle, with Daniel Radcliffe getting lost in a Bolivian jungle.
Pretty good, not what I was expecting. 7/10
Maybe y'all disagree but, to me, L.A. Confidential is one of the greatest movies of all time.
Documentary, but has anyone watched Stray?
Shiva Baby on HBO Max.
Hilariously uncomfortable. 9/10. Good for non Jews, even better for Jews.
I watched "Goon" again last night. God damn I love that movie
I have no opinion on what movie is the greatest of all time, but LAC is a legitimately great movie.
Damnit, Top Gun just got moved again......
Can’t be a good sign all these films are getting bumped.
looks like shit and a rehash of a dozen past movies. Gal Gadot is hot though
I’m very nervous about Dune getting pushed right now
Haven't seen Dead Poets Society since HS, and it's free on YouTube. Anyone seen it recently?
Didn't see "Foggy Bottom" being officially titled "Licorice Pizza" lol
SHOW ME THE TRAILER PAUL
this is getting good reviews from festivals
Netflix movies usually miss, but I have enjoyed a few of them.
High hopes for this
Is Parkland any good? Free on YouTube.
They're obviously going for quantity over quality, and some big names have put out absolute shit. But you're right, a handful of them are enjoyable.
Like this. Worried that all the big names will have small parts, but hope it's good.
