Watched Freidkin's Sorcerer the other night. What an incredible movie. Artistic action movies are extremely my shit.
Bottoms is coming out this weekend oh boy the summer of Ayo Edebiri continues plus we get Beast Mode in a movie
The story of Ludvig Kahlen who pursued his lifelong dream: To make the heath bring him wealth and honor. Set in the mid-1700s, The Bastard (Bastarden) is a gripping drama about the conquest of the Danish heath, unremitting nature, big dreams and even bigger sacrifices.
How To Blow Up a Pipeline is streaming on Hulu. Watched it tonight, and it’s fucking great. Intense from beginning to end, never slows down or drags. Similar to Uncut Gems in that you’re just on edge the whole time
I think it is one of my favorite movies made in the last two years. Great original score, tense, interesting, and a pretty accurate, nuanced depiction of the dirtbag left-type people I used to know and hang with.
Yeah it's very much in the eye of the viewer whether you feel positively or not about them. I think they're sympathetic but not lionized
Gran Turismo was a very solid theater flick Wasn’t some indie award winning flick like what cinemabros love and some parts were very obviously ad heavy handed but at the end of the day it was enjoyable to watch, especially in a Dolby like theater. I liked how they integrated some of the video game graphics during the racing scenes. Also cool that the driver this story was based on was a stunt double for the movie
Watched this for a minute, realized it had spoilers, so then I finally just watched Creep since it's only 77 minutes. Pretty good. Heard the 2nd was even better, so I'll probably be watching that one soon.
Talk To Me is really good. Love to see more fun B-movie horror like this and Bodies Bodies Bodies. Loved the way both decided to end it. The Crazy Frog ringtone was fucking killing me though. Hilarious choice.
Watched Without Limits for like the 10th time free on YouTube. I hadn’t watched it in years. Also, when did YouTube start having free movies? I should take advantage of it more often.
Watched the Foreman movie on Netflix last night.... Would not recommend. There are some positives though, for starters, I finished it. I was also entertained, because Foreman has one hell of a story. After it was over, I started watching old Foreman fights on YouTube. Lastly, Forrest Whitaker is in it, and when is he not great?
