gubbs don't do this
Accept is very much metal. If you're sitting on other stuff from 1982 that rips like this please share.
Oh I don't care about the music. He just has a tendency to post entire pages worth of videos at a time
New Necrophobic is starting off nicely. I see Celestial Season has a new album. That's a band name I haven't heard since the 90's. I bet it sucks.
I didn't mind this
I've seen them live. Can't remember who they were supporting.
Any good? Seems like a band that would translate well to a live setting
I'm not the biggest fan, certainly not the reason I was there. I have one of their early albums, it's a digipak (bleh). Unless I'm thinking of someone else, Egypt? You might like Egypt.
I just like that "doomed heavy metal" sound or whatever Khemmis calls it.
I can appreciate the stuff like Bell Witch but I dont have much interest in ever running it back really
Some of the guys that played in some mid era Death albums got together with notorious asshole Kam Lee (featured on early Death demos) and made a legendary album back in 1991. I only bring it up because depending on your age you may not be aware ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Bill Andrews (Spiritual Healing, Leprosy)
Rick Rozz (Leprosy)
Terry Butler (Spiritual Healing)
I can't be held responsible for anything I post the rest of the night. About to get high and listen to OSDM.
If you're anti-death penalty I ask that you reconsider your position.
The comments are nearly as bad as the music.
• 2020 and I’m still here. Saw em at warped tour 07 lost my girlfriends sister in the pit.
• I remember this cd I got from buying a shirt at hot topic.
• Still slaps hard. Imagine if this was 2020 quality.
• This is still more of a banger than 99% of the other crap that comes out these days.
Ok, back to Imperial Doom...
and before anyone asks I accidentally logged into youtube as Joe_Pesci and this was in the feed
RIP my recommendations
Amazingly it's still better than Six Feet Under
i had to look up this band
You're kidding me. Six Feet Under? Chris Barnes? Ex-Cannibal Corpse. Total joke of a vocalist, once an icon of one of the most popular if not the most popular death metal bands. You should travel down tat rabbit hole some day when you're bored.
They're so fucking bad. From their new album, which is apparently one of their better recent outputs.
They started off so-so in the mid 90's, this is almost respectable.
thought you were talking about the Sneaker Pimps song tbqh
Played a show with this band in Michigan. They sucked.
Oh and I like Pallbearer a lot. Great live.
Sneaker Pimps? Never heard of 'em.
I'm boozin and making stupid posts that make me chuckle, I wouldn't worry about it
Not sure how I overlooked Cro-Mags "Best Wishes" three decades ago.
I need to revisit my East Coast Assault II compilation from Too Damn Hype.
New Enslaved is out. They are one of my all-time favorite bands.
It always takes a few spins for me to get into a new release of theirs, things always seem so layered.
What do you guys think?
i've heard good things about Pasage d'Hiver for a while, but finally got around to checking out their 2020 album, Im Wald.
this is epic stuff. early Darkthrone/first wave black metal vibes. awesome soundtrack for the colder weather.
I've only listened to it once, and while I prefer their early releases, this one may be a grower I spend more time with. They've had a few albums that never stuck, and a few I've never even got around to trying. Monumension and Vertebrae come to mind as two I didn't care for.
Agree that there are some that just don’t hit for me.
I universally love all of the older stuff, up through Mardraum.
On the proggier side, Ruun, Isa, RIITIIR, and E are all great.
Just noticed that Inferi band some of you like for reasons unknown has a new EP that leaked.
i totally slept on the last Carcass album in 2013 (Surgical Steel).
heard some new singles from their forthcoming release that inspired me to check it out. really great NWOBHM-style guitar solos over the top of ripping (melodic) death metal.
Heartwork and Necroticism were key albums for my metalhead development.
2020 upcoming album
Surgical Steel was great, it gets shit on a lot by the, "oNly tHe FirSt twO caRcasS AlbUMs ArE reAL, Reeeeeeeeeeeeee" crowd.
I never understood that argument, but I don’t really like grindcore.
Me either. Pure grindcore, " slammin' " brutal death metal and whatever the fuck this is.
Very much dislike VFW Hall ____core bands that play with their back to the audience
Why was I not made aware of this a decade ago? And who are the goddamn fans of this horrific band, I've never met one.
Is DT the trendy new Hot Topic mall goer favorite band now? Who came up with these shirts?
behemoth can have some cool merch but they are definitely the progenitors of this “all over print” style that is just horrific.
burnttatertot have you listened to the new Necrophobic yet?
I have and feel it's their best in years!!!!
BREAKING NEWS: Darkthrone signs with Affliction, releases new line of shirts.
nice, that’s high praise. ill spend some time with it this wk.
For whatever reason I don't think Darkthrone really cares about merch
When I was looking like a year ago for a shirt with just the logo on it, all I found were bootlegs. Their webstore was pretty barren as well iirc
Necrogram I thought was quite good. Lilithu was shit. Death To All is a bit overrated by some but I still liked it a lot. Hrimthursum had one of my favorite Necrophobic tracks.
Forgot to finish my thought... I'd say best since Death To All (2009).
