It is implied in the Xeet that the teams waiting for them in the B1G are going to “pick them apart” not the ones they’re entering with
UCLA isn’t good Kal isn’t good and they struggled against both. Also next year they won’t have Williams so yeah they are going to get picked apart by more than just OSU and UM
USC sucks I’m not arguing that. They would beat anyone in the B1G besides the bucs, wolfs, and maybe Pedos and/or Iowa.
How many teams are we going to have next year? 18? Yeah post Caleb Williams with a Lincoln Riley defense will definitely put them bottom half next season.
https://fbschedules.com/2024-usc-football-schedule/ 9/1 - LSU - Neutral 9/7 - Utah St - Home 9/21 -Michigan - Away 9/28 - Wisconsin - Home 10/5 - Minnesota - Away 10/12 - PSU - Home 10/19 - Maryland - Away 10/26 - Rutgers - Home 11/2 - Washington - Away 11/16 - Nebraska - Home 11/23 - UCLA - Away 11/30 - Notre Dame - Home Their home/away slate is extremely favorable for Y1 in the B1G. Think the other 3 Pac schools got at least one boning on the schedule for later season cold weather away games and USC didn't really get that. Still, they'll struggle to get bowl eligible next year imo.
They should try to go into the PSU game with 0 or 1 loss so that Franklin thinks they're a legit contender and shits down his leg.
USC is going to look other worldly against the likes of Michigan State and Nebraska and then hopelessly overmatched against every team from Iowa and up
Franklin gonna sneak out a win every couple years and get to sacrifice a few more OCs to boot and stay in Happy Valley forever
