Yea all the teams that took a QB in the first this year would stick with their guys bc of the unknown upside. Maybe to win 1 game this week, but they aren't trading them ling term.
I agree that Indy would be a long shot. But that’s contingent on AR showing soon that he can pass at the NFL level. And Mac is at least on the field most weeks. Don’t think we’ll be able to say the same about Richardson. And Minnesota might consider it based on how much money they pay Cousins compared to the production they get. Jones would be a much better value and, with Minnesota’s weapons, wouldn’t be much of a drop in production.
Kirk Cousins is a hilarious moron, but I would be surprised if anyone in the league would rather have Mac Jones than Kirk Cousins at any dollar value.
I think there's 1 QB that could succeed with that OC and those WR's. I'm not saying he's Tua but look at what an OC and weapons did for Tua. Mac isn't great but he's been dealt an awful hand. BB got away with this with Brady but Mac isn't Brady.
Honestly would not take Jones over Ridder rn. And I don’t think Ridder is good. The only reason Jones has a bunch of yards is because he’s throwing it 45 times a game.
Will has been the much better Qb at every level of football but Mac got to play with a group full of first round OL and WRs at bama so pats are kinda stuck with him
Most of the Pats fans I know don’t like him at all. I feel like he was the one making these excuses in the first place?
In Mac's rookie year, Bill's Super Bowl prediction was Pats over Bucs last year he did a pod right before the season started where him and Peter Schrager earnestly went over Mac's MVP odds It's been a wild ride
