I’m praying they’re not outrageous since they’re all duplo/4+ sets because my daughter is about to have a field day
What's a dream set Lego doesn't make. Game of Thrones? Assuming they don't touch that because of mature content
Anyone have recommendations for Lego storage for kids. We have the 3-1 creator sets our son loves but gotta figure soemthing out with all these legos everywhere from taking apart and back together
the boxes from ikea have done a lot for our storage situation https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/bygglek-lego-r-box-with-lid-set-of-3-white-70372186/
My wife went full out OCD episode and separated all of the thousands of Legos we have by color in giant ziplock bags with the color wrote on them. I did not bother her during the process. She stored them in the Leogs shaped bin our son got for Christmas.
Not even playing. She would have a question pile to see whether or not something was blue/green or orange/red/yellow types of debates. Luckily he’s stuck to the Spidey builds and hasn’t messed with the randoms cause she’s going to lose her shit if he mixes them.
How many of you actually have the biggest Falcon set? The one that costs nearly $1,000? I want it so badly but can’t justify that kind of money on Legos.
I am surprised they haven’t gotten into sports more outside of F1 recently. They’ve done old trafford and bernabeu but very limited I think
Do you guys build a set as soon as you get it or wait for a rainy day or something? Got Taj Mahal for Christmas -- trying to decide when I want to bust into it.
Got it on launch day. Still in the shipping box. Once the kid is older and things are less intense I plan on breaking into it with him.
I can only do mine late at night, otherwise my 3 year old wants to help. Do a few bags with some cocktails, then hide them in the closet until they’re done. I’m currently working on two builds, but really want to start the HP Train set I got. Problem with that one is it’s 4ft long, and don’t really have a place to display. Will probably put on a shelf, high on the wall in the living room.
I’m similar to ButchCassidy that most of my building is after dark now. I used to build a lot of my new buys real quick. When we had our kid 2 years ago I lost my man cave/office space where I displayed/built, which has lead to me stashing most of the sets I get for time being. I had began building the UCS falcon, but after moving in 2022 it hasn’t been taken out of the Rubbermaid I have it stored in. At this point I’m just waiting for her to be older and I can do a rebuild.
Looks like bday/xmas presents will be easy for me to find, kids already freaking out. If they keep doing these anime IPs…..
I’m not a huge Dune fan, but that set looked so awesome. Couldn’t justify the purchase cause there’s so many other sets I want, based on things I am a bigger fan of. Mario, Harry Potter, Star Wars.
My first experience with Technics, and the engineering is amazing. Dune afficianados, if you look at the rear ramp, I've reenacted the scene with Gurney hauling a tripping Paul into the thopter.
I haven't really been into Legos since I was a kid, but I've already pre-ordered several F1 sets and am very excited
I really enjoy doing them on the weekends with a drink of choice, something on the TV in the background.

Both are really great. I'm moving at the end of next month and looking forward to being able to get Starry Night up on the wall.
I read that you build it in the same basic stages that the actual cathedral was built over the decades/centuries.
I see they’re coming out with a larger version of the Trevi fountain. I currently have the smaller version in my office.
Can’t wait to build this. Just finished the Viking village. Gonna sell it since I don’t have anywhere to display it and isn’t necessarily one I want to keep.
