Yeah, it's hard to see this is anything but the Browns being cheap. Jonah, on top of not being very good in the first place, has stayed healthy for a grand total of 1 of his 4 NFL seasons. Unless he is just completely done physically, cutting a versatile veteran OL seems like an incredibly short-sighted move. It's not like the cap savings for this season will go towards improving the team...
Any of y’all wanting to make the trip to Nashville for the Titans game, the guy I normally go to the games with is selling all 4 of his seats for that game. Club level seats, sec 225, aisle seats and has two parking passes for a lot right next to the stadium. He’s only asking face value for them. Shoot me a message if you’re interested.
Mixon has looked pretty solid this year too. Taylor and Callahan are awful play callers/play designers.
My neighbor angrily mows his yard after Bengals losses. This week, he probably did 60 mph on his John Deere.
Wish we would trade for a rb or te to improve our team but expecting the Brown family to do nothing in season per usual.
Really need y’all to bring up Hudson from the practice squad. He can’t block for shit but catches everything.
I'd actually rate rb a more pressing need then te. We should just only use wr's in passing situation because our te's suck. We have no one who can fill the Perine 3rd down rb spot who can block, catch and make the first guy miss. He made so many 2 yard passes into 6 - 8 yard plays last year and that has been missing from our offense this season. They've been using Sample as a rb on third downs just so he can block but he obviously can't force any missed tackles. It's a pretty damn easy role to fill but we just didn't address it for some reason in free agency.
Turner has been awesome. The last two 2nd round picks have been home runs between CTB and Turner. Makes losing Awuzie after this season much easier. Turner is also helping the defense a lot this season because on clear passing downs we're taking Hilton off the field and putting Awuzie at slot cb. That puts three really good cover cb's on the field and makes our pass defense even better.
I still have no idea why Hendrickson extended his contract for one year rather then hit free agency after next season. But I love that he did because he's a monster.
I don't think we'll lose out. I can see finding a couple wins to land just shy of 8 or so. Not that it makes me feel any better.
It won't happen but they shouldn't try to win another game. Hopefully they can still get a 1st for Tee after the season as well.
