I'm worried about that, yeah. They have fuckloads of tube artillery and rocket launchers. I could also see them sending an "expeditionary force" but I have a feeling they'd have a hard time keeping them from deserting if they're promised asylum
I don't think Lil Kim would put a large part of his army in Europe whilst all the US/China sabre rattling is going on, plus if they DID it'd give NATO an excuse to organise semi-official volunteer regiments. But I think NK might end up giving them ammunition and artillery (it's all Soviet based on both sides) in exchange for oil or maybe some of the new 636.3 Kilos in the future.
I think I read somewhere NK 152 mm ammo has already been spotted in captured Russian stocks, but perhaps I'm misremembering. I think we'll probably find out how good / precise North Korean metallurgy and tooling is.
im just abcasual observer here but it looks like the hill is intact but there’s a fair amount of equipment damaged up top, probably not a total loss
Soviet compatible munitions in exchange for Russia fixing their jacked up satellite program is what was speculated I saw this morning. Either WSJ or Bloomberg, I don't remember which one
Putin Is Gathering the Enemies of the West https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/a...-take-putin-at-his-word-the-west-is-the-enemy
I would think very little chance of NK troops involved. Near 100% chance of NK ammo sent in bulk. The speculation I have read is that Russia will of course pay NK for the Ammo AND likely help them with their space program aka info/knowledge/tech for ICBM program. Hence why the meeting took place at a Russia space service facility.
More info out now on the su-27 and UK rivet joint incident from last September. If you'll recall- Rivet Joint over the black sea reported being harassed by two Russian su-27. The su-27 ended up having a malfunction that caused one of them to fire off a missile. UK and Russia both talked the incident down. Turns out the Russian pilot misunderstood his orders and thought he was ordered to engage the UK rivet joint. He had radar lock and shot a live missile at the rivet joint attempting to shoot it down. It missed. He then shot a 2nd missile at the rivet joint- the 2nd one malfunctioned and just fell off the plane. I don't think that would have caused ww3 but wooo boy aren't we all lucky russian equipment is poorly maintained. https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zo...-135-spy-plane-after-deliberate-launch-report
If only the US and Europe could diminish the power of these bad actors… oh wait a minute, if we transition off of fossil fuels, iran, SA and Russia would be minimized? And it’s good for the environment? Nah let’s let the oil lobby ruin that idea
That….that may have just done it. Those planes have a crew of 20-30 Airmen and would have been flying in international waters. That’s not Iran shooting down an RQ4 in disputed airspace, that’s the deliberate murder of 30 military personnel on an unarmed aircraft, and the news would have every one of their official photos on constant loop.
GBR would have retaliated against Russia right? wondering how a nation that’s not America would handle things. TIA
Saw a video yesterday of a UK attack on a trench system by ground forces supported by drones. The drones in the video were getting video of other drones hitting the same targets. It is when I realized that they are using multiple drones during these engagements. All armed with a camera and grenades.
300k+ all up casualties for Russia so far (dead, wounded, missing etc...) https://www.19fortyfive.com/2023/09...red-putins-war-losses-in-ukraine-are-massive/ For comparison: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_military_casualties_of_war US WW2 = 1,076,245 US WW1 = 320,518 Vietnam = 211,545 US Korean = 128,650 American Revolution = 66,000 US Iraq = 36,710 US Afghan = 22,311
Who had "Russia's invasion of Ukraine would destroy its Military combat readiness for the next decade" on their bingo card.
I don’t understand a train as a super safe way for Kim to move, sure, you’re armored, but blow up some rails ahead and you’re gonna crash, genius.
Question: how does the driver open the door and get out once he's got it parked? (maybe he just has to sit in the car the entire train trip back to NK? )
